Hi Suzanne - I believe you are asking about doing mobile services of facials and waxing versus setting up a home based business. I ve done both and found that the mobile services are fun but there is quite a bit of work to transport and set up. I have a massage table that has a "skate" and weighs 35 pounds. I have two very large rolling suitcases, steamer fit into its boxing a rolling stool. It took about 30 minutes to set up at the location and 45 minutes to break down. I did not transport a wax unit. I imagine if you plugged in immediately you would have hot wax by set up time but then you would need accommodations for after when the wax is liquid. There are security issues to work out - just as well with a home based operation. I prefer to remain at a location and have clients come to me now due to equipment and the hazards of transporting them.
