Dealing with fitzpatrick 5-6 skin was and still a challenge.I had clients with combination skin-> dry areas causing uneven skin tone making the dry area appear darker and some other clients with patches making that area appear lighter. Also, I noticed when a client has this skin type / condition he or she tends to be sensitive to most treatments.
Performing treatments to uneven skin tone:
when I'm doing a enzyme or chemical peel treatment I've learned to make sure my clients don't leave without some type of skin repairing cream. Through out the healing process I noticed this helps sooth ,repair and hydrate the skin which made it quicker to see results. Because without the repair cream through the healing process I noticed clients seem irritated in the dry areas causing it to appear even darker or not seeing much of a difference toward his or her wanted results.
Home treatments:
I make sure client uses a sensative or milk base cleanser while using medicated products to even skin tone along with a hydrating product and of course SPF along with it.
It's been a challenge but my clients are seeing results. Which make me love my job even more...** Could use more advice on other products to I can use to speed up and help this situation***( the product line I use at the office is the following: aveene, obagi, and skin medica.)
My issue is still with the patches of dry skin making area look lighter.
I know as an Esthetician to exfoliate and hydrate skin but I feel It takes longer to see improvement. **Need help.**.
Especially when it come to younger kids and teens there is only so much you can do to his or her skin. I noticed this situation mostly happens after summer time.*****.What can I do to help see faster results?????...
Think of when you waxed a level 5-6, it is ashy or lighter. Keep moisturizing.
How about a vita C moisterizer in the dryer areas?
I like the Image Vita C antiaging enzyme serum.
Faster results...ehhh...Youve already done peels and exfoliants, that speeds up the mitosis in the germinativum for new skin. So it will take time for those to move up.
