Hi there, I am moving into a new room which is fully carpeted.  I need to be sure I keep the carpet in tact.  I do waxing, not a ton, but I do it.  I also want to be able to move around freely on my stool.  I was sort of thinking of just creating a faux floor that snaps together from home depot but if there are better, cheaper suggestions, please do tell!!  Thank you.  :)

I guess I am not real messy when waxing, but I have just a terrycloth 'bathmat' (actually 2 which I alternately use, much heavier than a towel but made to match my towels. I just place it between my waxing trolley and the massage table I use for body waxing. This way if a bit gets on that 'mat', I can 'treat' it and throw in the washing machine. More of a problem for me is the space in front of my sink cabinet next to where I sit.  I learned I need to put down a rug there, with my stool over the rug, since I on rare occasions have gotten bits of lash dye there from dropping an applicator or an undereye 'protector', or dropped a lid of a product, etc. It does happen, though I consider myself a very careful person who pays attention to detail.  Interested to hear other suggestions...

yes, lash tint can be a problem on occasion- been there!   Probably going wiht the plastic office mats.  TY!

That sounds like a good idea.

I saw these laminate and bamboo "mats" but you would need a couple to cover your area...different sizes avail.

I don't do that much waxing so never had a problem (knock on wood) with getting anything on a carpet.

yowza- pricey!!  Good looking but not economical.  Thank you.  :)

I went to office depot and purchased chair mats, one for each side of the table, it works awesome! Chair mats are designed for rolling chairs to move on carpet easily and wax is easily removed off them.

hi, thankyou!  Yes, probably best, easiest and most economical choice. :)

yes- thank you!

How about office mats ?  They are clear and wipe clean easily - Office Depot, Max, etc.

thank you!

Double Check your state regulations - in TX you are not allowed to have carpet in the treatment room. I came very close to learning this the hard way. The floor in the treatment room must be "non-porous." Even though putting down laminate was not a cost I wanted to pay, it makes complete sense, and looks SO much nicer. Just double, triple check.
