Yes I have. Just put it on a small stick, put it up the nose, and then press gently around the nose to make sure it is secured and touching all the hairs possible. Then, after it has set, pull down quickly and with sturdy pressure! I do this to my husband all the time. Although I have heard that it is not the best thing to do since your nose hairs are there for a reason. =-)

You are describing the technique used with hard wax.  Sort wax will never "set."  Hopefully this is an oversight??

NO NO!!! I  would never use soft wax for nostrils since it never "sets' I use HARD wax only......

Most would think that this is a painful process but as long as the wax is hard type wax and it is applied to a stick and allowed to set it's pretty painless.

I saw some well known in the industry waxing ladies on TV a few weeks ago using soft wax for the nostrils...  I was so perplexed!  It looked uncomfortable for both the client and the waxer.  Shoving pellen into a clients nose?!

I use hard wax and small sticks.  Twist the stick around until the wax settles at the tip of the stick and cools just a bit and then stick it into the nostril, twirling a bit to make a 'plug' and get all the hairs.  Let it set and harden, then grasp the bridge of the nose with one hand and pull the stick straight down with the other.  Its easy and the clients all say it hurts less than a lip wax!

NO!!  Just hard wax!  How the heck do you without being all in their business stick the muslin up their nose to remove it?   Too messy...use hard wax and leave it to dry then pull out with your stick.  It shoudl also only go into the corner of the nose...not right up the nostril.  The hairs up the nostril are there to protect you against disease etc....just the corners where the hair hangs down.  No pulling brains out of people's nostrils with wax!  :) :)

No one uses soft wax - you may have been mistaken on the video.

Everyone uses techniques similar to what you describ.

NO NEVER use soft wax in the nose only hard wax.

No

From my training the answer is no due to small membranes in the nose can easily tear and bleed.  I use small rounded scissors and gently trim.  From the posts here is seems it's being done, however I prefer not to.

Hard wax only.  Soft wax never sets.
