BT nano reviews
Just wondering who uses the BT nano and what do you think of it? How much did it cost you & how much do you charge for the service?

I am looking forward to hearing other responses to this question. I do have the Nano, I purchased it as a student on a special deal we were able to badger the rep for. I believe I paid 795.00 for it. I have been using it regularly on myself, and I feel like I see some difference however - and this is a major beef for me - I did not receive the DVD or any training on it (other than a demo from an instructor who has one). I am pretty much operating in the dark, with the cheaply produced manual. This is not to say that this is not a very cool tool - just that I don't feel that I have the full picture. BT would also recommend that you use the Nano in conjunction with their BT Cocktail Lift - a three part serum set.
For pricing, I was thinking that it would make a nice add-on to a facial. I would say it adds 25 minutes to a service, so I would add 25.00 to a regular facial. (Alternatively, you could do MC rather than massage... just thinking out loud.)

I purchased it several months ago. I did receive the video and manual. I have tried it out on a few clients. I did the Cocktail Lift and did not notice any "lift". Of course, their skin looked good but no more than it would with any of the other facials I offer. I do like the Invisible Expression Treatment, because it uses a microcurrent eye mask and I think people like the "wow" factor of it. But again, results are not above anything else. If I had it to do again, I would not purchase. I use it as a tool in my facials, but I don't think it is enough to build an entire treatment around or charge extra. I will just bring it out during a facial to spice things up sometimes.

I just got the Nano with the cheap manual and no DVD. I agree with everyone so far about no lift and working in the dark. I was turned onto it by Dermalogica because they seemed really impressed by it but I have not seen any results so far of my own. I think I will return it.

I've been using it for Microcurrent lifting with great results! How many passes over each section are you doing per treatment? Are you increasing the lift from 1 as they get more treatments? I personally do the eye treatment and a full face treatment, and I do 3 passes on each move per treatment, and increase the lift # each time. My clients are seeing results, as are their family and friends. I don't use the BT products, I use it with Dermalogica products. If you have a Dermalogica account, they have videos and trainings on using these correctly, all the different lifting and separating moves you can do, and how to properly do them. Each move must be held for 6-12 beeps (each beep = 2 seconds) to achieve results. I have been doing this almost 2 years and consider myself somewhat of an expert, so please let me know if anyone wants specific questions answered.

HI Jodi! Thank you for referring the Dermalogica website. I have just purchased the bt nano and haven't seen any difference. Are you familiar with the nano? If so, how do I increase the level with each pass? And do you do a full face as one pass and then repeat, or do you do sections? Have you noticed a difference with the nano or just the platinum?

After you get on BT Cocktail Lift, click the 'mode' button and it will change from cocktail lift 1 to 2, etc. It goes up to 5. I do the full treatment I'm doing, eyes, full face, then go back and do it again. I've just always done it 3 times...sometimes I do 2 on the lower setting and up it for the 3rd. I'm not sure where I got the 3 from, I truly do not recall if they told us that or not. But my clients love it. You have to make sure you are grabbing the muscles and really lifting, and holding for 6-12 beeps, which is 12-24 seconds. Holding for 5 seconds won't do anything at all. The nano is the one I use. I'm not sure what the platinum is.

Thanks! I was informed by BT its not for the over 45 crowd. I also thought 1 pass per area was the limit.

Really? I was trained at IDI, not by BT. Microcurrent is for aging...why wouldn't you use it over age 45? That makes no sense. I just do 3 passes, not sure if they trained us that way, or I just do it, no ill affects. One of my clients told me a co-worker asked if she got Botox after a few treatments.

What I heard from the Bio-therapeutic company is that the BT-nano only good for 6 movements and few fast services.. I own bio-therapeutic GOLD and BLUE PLATINUM machines.
