Does anyone do any specials in January? This is the slow time for my area (Jan/Feb) so I need to find a way to get clients in. I am pushing my Express Facial but I also wanted to have another facial that is for more money. The Express can be for people that still want a facial but tight on money b/c of the holidays but I also work in an affluent area so that isn't always a draw. Something Wintery? Something for "After the Holidays?" I don't know.

Thank you!

I have been offering a body wrap with a mini facial and hand scrub.  I don't know if you do wraps or not but it adds a bit to the price and clients love it!

Thanks ladies! I actually do a body wrap but it doesn't seem to be very popular in my area around this time of year. I sold a lot in the summer though.

Natalie- I am going to steal your "Winter Radiance" name. I love it! I was calling my facial, Winter Rescue, which is very fitting but I like the word radiance better. More appealing to clients, I think.

I don't think I could do a class or anything like that where I work. Well, I probably could but it takes a lot out of me to deal with the people I work with and I don't think I'm up for it right now. :) Maybe I'll do something like that for my Client Appreciation next month. Sounds cool!

I LOVE the idea of "make your own stuff" beauty bar!! I think that is really unique and really cute and something fun to do at someone's home as well. I may have to market it that way b/c people are always asking me about DIY masks. This way I show them the proper way and the proper ingredients for their skin type. You're brilliant! This is exactly why I am on this forum almost everyday. We get ideas from things we don't expect. :)

January I promote "Out with the Old/In with the New Facial", but I might steal Radiance or Rescue (thank you ). Also, last year I bought from Wal-Mart for $1.99 long handle natural bristle body brushes. I give them as a promo and teach on the spot the advantages of dry brushing at home , specially in winter. For the really , really good clients ( the good tippers) I include a glycolic body lotion. I am shocked at the perceived value of the brush , although I admit that I cut the part of the tag that says wal-mart and made in China. To make your own "pamphlet" on dry brushing just google it and c/p

Thanks for the thumbs up, Natalie....sure everything is made in China and have no problem with that otherwise, how would I buy it for $1.99 or less... The wal-mart was on the same line with China, and I hid the wal-mart part because some of my clients are very 'anti-walmart' or snobs...Thanks for the tip on massage warehouse...Dry brushing feels sooo good....How about as a gift for Valentine's  gift with lotion and shower gel or scrub...

and suggest partners brush each other? It's effortless, not like real massage. I just thought about it, not sure it's a "great" idea.

Great ideas, Natalie....great minds think alike !! ha, ha. And I think dry brushing is a lot more doable than massage, and you touched a good point, works for singles too!! Brush the winter blues away! But again, it's something that needs to be promoted now, in january!! I will put it on my pro FB page , tomorrow and do an email campaign with this theme. (But first, visit the local walmart and the website for supplies) Thank you!

New Year promotions are great!

I am doing a M'Lis Contour/Detox Body Wrap special with the option to purchase a series at a discount.

I am also featuring a Radiancy FSD facial treatment promotion with an option for a series.

Plus a $10 off Hot Stone Massage for good measure.

and then there is Valentine's Day and Mother's Day to start planning for..... ;)

Natalie - with the M'Lis wrap, the client is scrubbed, contour cream is applied, and they are wrapped in plastic film.  After the film is removed if there is any cream still on the body it is patted in not removed. This is a great wrap for those with no showers.

Clients see results - most have booked more than one - but so far, they are not willing to invest in a full detox program. A body wrap, no matter how effective is not going to take the place of healthy living/eating.

I like this wrap because it is safe and natural. This is a great company to work with and I have been trying out some of the supplements too.

I do the M'Lis wrap as well and love it! :)

do you have a link for those wraps?
