Thinking of going solo, and want to start with one excellent device. My focus in skincare is corrective, and I will be based in a salon on a University campus. I will purchase Dermafiles, but what else? What is a skin changing, not crazy expensive, results driven device that I can market successfully? I will be using PCA products.

LED light, check out Shelleys mask or her LED panel (the mask is more afforeable for starting out).  I like the dermafiles to start ober a micro...wish I only had those.  Other than that, I think that you can get great results and don't have to be a gadget person....you have 2 hands...and the right ingredients, especially peels.  You will be successful!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Sheila! :)

Hi

I would invest in a good microdemabration machine!I use image micro derm and  if you buy the time when is a esthetics show they may give you the show special which mean can pay half and than the rest of it break down 4 interest free payment!

I hope this helped!

if this is to much maybe a needle free mesotherapy machine but do resurch on the companies i would just purchase USA made machines!

You can never go wrong with high frequency and galvanic.  Microcurrent is excellent!  Check amazon.com.  There are many different qualities and price range.  I have been doing some research and have ended up buying a few things through them rather than an equipment supplier.

Just a humble opinion (and I may be the only person who thinks this way), microderm machines are way too expensive and there is newer and better technology in equipment and products (like stem cell and nano) out there. Keep it simple.  dermarollers are also a new technology that seems to do wonders! Clients will come to you because of you not because you have the most expensive and exotic equipment. I agree with Sheila, your two hands will do the magic!

If you are doing corrective services and are focusing on a younger market focus on the equipment that you will actually USE.

I am thinking LED with red and blue.

But one of the most affordable pieces of equipment would be an Ultrasonic Skin Spatula...you will use it all the time - much better results than with the dermafiles.

You can also purchase a High Frequency for not too much.

If you will be working with acneic clientele you might want to look into the Face Reality products.

When I used PCA Skin I didn't get the get results for this group.
