Im looking to add microderm to my menu. Ive used a machine called "Bella" before and it is amazing. The only problem is that it cost 5thousand. Which is alot for me at this time. They do offer financing options but i dont want to go that route.

My question is comparing the derma files to a microderm machine would i receive the same results. Is it just as good with acne and i pigmentation as the normal machine? Any comments from some professional that has used both is greatly appreciated

thank you Shelley!
Shelly, are you rinsing the tca before going under the light? Or leaving it on for several mins? And whats the burn factor for the client? And peeling/ irritation after treatment?

No rinsing...just put them right under the panel. With Skin Script TCA, I don't get any irritation, just great results! I've never had anyone get major peeling..maybe it's because I'm doing the LED!

Do you do any mask
Or massage after? I've never used tca before. Whos the best to do this treatment on?

Cindy - a TCA is left on because it's self neutralizing.

I WILL put serums on top sometimes - moisturizer and sunscreen always - but no on the massage and masque.

This is NOT a peel for everyone certainly not for first time or for sensitive - you need to know your clients skin.

I just saw the Dermasweep training video, gosh I wouldn't do this treatment on my own face. That would break many, I mean MANY capillaries on my face. Well, I learned with Katrina Klum how to use the Dermafile with cleansing lotion and I really like it. Also, I use the Dermasound elite. I love cool peels and so my clients.

I am buying 2 new machines this year, 1 radiodrequency cellulite and localized fat deposit treatment ( body ), and another patent radiofrequency cool delivery system just for the face.

PS: I never saw microdermabrasion doing any major improvement on the skin but only thinning the skin and breaking capillaries, I guess clients who never took care of their skin, microdermabrasion can help since this type of skin has nothing to lose.
