I saw another esty on facebook promote a facial treatment specifically for sunburn. I thought that was a pretty cool treatment, and just so happen that a Doctor that works in my office building is dealing with this very thing all over her face.  I thought of something I could do for treating the decollate, using simple ingredients like aloe w/ lavender and chamomile e.o. , green tea compress , the cucumber toner, moisturizer and spf. But I was not sure about the face, as I do not have very much experience with treating sunburns. Anyway, I messaged the esty and she said that she uses dermalogica's calming line and cold globes for the massage.

With using Skin script I am thinking that I want to use the pomegranate cleanser, the cucumber toner, and if there is peeling maybe use the retinol scrub/mask...strictly as a mask, no srubbing,..or use the goji berry mask ( want to use the seaweed mask because it has chamomile in it but it can be a little warming on the skin, so not sure) .  followed by the ageless serum, aloe moisturizer and spf ,then use the LED . I dont have the globes, but I do have the cold stones I could use....

any thoughts on how you would use skin script products for a sunburn facial treatment ?

I use microcurrent gel with colloidal oatmeal (anti-inflammatory) and definitely dermalogica's Multi-Vitamin Power Recovery Mask as components of the treatment plan.  LED and microcurrent are key in my experience.

I would be concerned with the Pomegrante being to aggressive on newly sunburned skin--the Salicylic would be too drying. i'd also hold off on the Retinol Scrub for a minimum of 3 days following intense sun exposure. My suggestion woul be go with the Coconut/papaya enzyme due to its deep hydrating ability followed by layering the Hydrating Serum under the Goji Berry or Vanilla Clove mask if the cant tolerate the Seaweed and then finish with the Acai for additional moisture if they're not oily/acneic otherwise the Ageless moisturizer.

I thought the Vanilla mask created a dermal warming like with the chocolate mask? I could be wrong.

Sandra, maybe put the seaweed mask in the fridge?  I think you are on the right track with everything else...use cool towels rather than warm...maybe even cool compress?  you could use literally whole milk on her face too if she isn't allergic...it will hydrate and the proteins in the milk help heal the skin.

I will admit...I had a bit of a sunburn recently...something completely stupid and I bathed practically in the seaweed mask :),

Well I wasn't going to use the enzymes at all actually, see
Seems like the enzymes would be too I wanted to use the pomegranate cleanser. But maybe I would consider that coconut enzyme. Glad to know that seaweed mask helped you Sheila !. I think a cold green tea compress or a cold compress with lavender would be nice with the stones is an idea...

How would you make your cold compresses?

I used to personally premake eye pads and put them in the fridge and just grab when needed.  Now I just make with cold water as I go along.  You probably could use a bowl with some ice?

Also, the milk sounds really good too. Great suggestions

I do like your idea of the Pomegranate Cleanser, light retinol scrub (just to exfoliate any flaking skin, not inflammed skin), the Cucumber Toner, Ageless Hydrating Serum, Goji Berry Mask.  I like Sheila's idea of the Seaweed Mask also.   If you don't have the ice globes, you can also use ice cubes within an aesthetic wipe.  I have an esty friend that does that and it feels good; just warn your client before you put something so cold on.

I've never heard of aesthetic wipes

Aesthetic wipes are 4x4 wipes that I purchase at an esthetic supply place.  People use them for cleansing, or removing product, or toning, etc.
