Hi all! I am asking a question that has already been asked on this forum earlier this year but I need a little clarification. We all know that High Frequency can not be performed on  a pregnant woman but can the esty performing the treatment be pregnant. I'm assuming not because of the direct contact with the probe. I just found out that I am pregnant!!! I am a sole esthetician in my skin care studio and it will be extremely difficult not to be able to perform high frequency on my clients that already expect it, any advice? Thank you!

I am no doctor but i would figure that as long as you did not come in contact with the current you and your new baby should be completely fine in order to do this with out initially shocking the client you would need to first place the prob while turned off on the to clients skin then turn the machine on, then turn the machine off before lifting the prob off the clients skin when finished. but i would still ask your doctor next visit!

Stephanie,

Please contact the manufacture on this. When in doubt always do that...Since I have been in this industry my exact words are always the same to this question:

Can you use if I am pregnant?  Answer: NO.  You must consult with your doctor and here are the details about this product so he can review.

Even if I already know the answer, my answer is the same.
