Organizing samples

Does anyone have a good idea or method of keeping those small product samples organized with labels visible so I can easily access them between services? I am so tired of them falling all over the place and hunting for the correct item in between services. And the one I need is always the last one I pick up OR I find that I am out of the one I need! Such a waste of my precious time!

I guess it depends on the size of sample and how it is packaged. I used a cupcake stand -similar to this for circular samples- http://www.crateandbarrel.com/3-tier-cupcake-stand/s408843?a=1552&a....

I have a small tray and medium size glass bowl for others. I stand certain ones on tray and the glass dish use also keeps them contained better than stand. Otherwise if you have a ton maybe a clear plastic bin with lid and separator in it could work.

Thanks Natalie, The cupcake stand is a cute idea! Most of my samples are in small round containers. I guess I will check out some organizers in Michaels or Bed, Bath & beyond to see if I can find storage. I don't like to leave many out in the open bc then I have waxing clients picking up samples with glycolic etc wo asking first, but the stand would be great for items like sunscreen, etc.

The container store had some great little drawer stacks...looked like something an artist would use. A little bigger than a sheet of paper, with each drawer about two inches high

We use something similar to that as well, and put labels on the drawers:  Cleansers, Anti-aging, Acne, etc.

How about something like this - not sure how room is set up but can keep in there ( just take out when using for service or giving to client. I use one similar and label on outside ( for you to know) no clients. Can even use top as space to set up during treatment if needed

Yes, I also do this for products that we don't receive company samples for...  Keep little sample jars and a sharpie in the treatment room.

I use a clear photo container from Michaels Craft store. It holds 16 individual clear boxes that I label with the product sample that I have stored in it. My samples are the small foil packs. I looked everywhere & this has worked perfectly! Totally organized, easy storage, and visible!

I put them in beakers out on the product shelf next to the same product.

I use just a plastic container.  You could make it easier by putting all of the same sample in a small ziploc baggy and label it.  I think I may actually do that myself now that I think about it :).
