Is the Dermafile legal to use in the state of California?  It looks like an interesting alternative to resurfacing.

It's considered manual exfoliation...it's fine!

Thanks Shelley!!

Shelly~ What is the price point for a dermafile treatment?

$199 for the set of three (fine, medium, coarse).

How would you price a treatment for a client?

Love these! Just purchased my 2nd set. (I'm in Ca)

I price it the same as a micro since that is what your doing without suction.

Dawn~ What is the price of your micro?

My micro is $80 with a hydrating facial afterwards.
Dermafiling is a great alternative to micro with suction. Most of my older clients have thinner skin and suction is too much but they see such great results from the dermafiling so thats all I use now and its still chargable as a microdermabraision. Leslie Lind in Tampa is the one that developed and just got it patented this year.

I did Dermafile several times, in the beginning i liked it - first i experienced it on myself, but then i tried it on 2 clients, i did not see much difference. One lady (thick skin) LOVED microdermabrasion , but at that time machine did not work properly and i offered her Dermafile, when i was done , i think i did see a little improvement, but my client did not see anything and it frustrated me a little. Second time , another lady  (thinner skin) was not impressed either.
Is there any secret how to use it so the results are more visible? or maybe i m doing that wrong?

Who did you purchase the files from and did you get a video showing how to use them? If you bought them from Leslie Lind in Tampa, dermafile.com, she would have sent you a video and a protocol on using them.
I saw results the first time on myself. My bosses daughter noticed her moms face and even asked her if she had gone to get injections or something that day. She said no but I had an amazing facial. She said her skin was glowing and it felt tighter from the decolete to her forehead. She and her daughters have become my rwg clients just for that reason only.
You dont have to use it lightly. You can use more pressure as long as the client is having any discomfort. Check out the video on dermafile.com
Leslie is the one that patented the dermafile.
