Bio-Hydroderm for Microdermabrasion?

Hi Everyone, 

I tried posting this in the Microdermabrasion forum but no replies so I thought I'd try the general forum. Has anyone bought the Bio-Hydroderm Microdermabrasion from Bio-Therapeutic at the Face and Body Show or just recently? They've been advertising a big discount on this machine and I am wondering if it's worth the purchase or not, I really like the idea of doing a wet Microdermabrasion function. Please provide any feedback if you've bought it!

Dear Katrina, I am going to be honest with you, I like the diamondTome mostly for the body treatment. I rely mostly on dermaplaning and light ( cool ) peels for the face treatment.

Hydration? Perhaps until the client washes her face to wash off all the hydrafacial's products. There's zero studies about the Hydrafacial.

Katrina,

The only machines I use in my practice are microcurrent and LED Lights. 

I find them affordable and effective.  I use a system of microdermabrasion that does not require purchase of expensive equipment.  The product I use is Nutrifoliant Exfoliating Cleanser Booster.  It is a mixture of microdermabrasion crystals (aluminum oxide) and nutrients in powder form.  It is mixed with facial cleanser just prior to use then massaged onto face (including neck and chest), converting a facial cleanse into a microdermabrasion treatment.  The results are really astonishing.  Here is the website:  Nutrifoliant.com.  Take a look at the testimonials.  Very affordable and can be used as an at-home product.

To clear up any conflict of interest issues, this is the first product I created in my Nutrient Skin Care line.  I am a licensed esthetician with a degree in Microbiology.  I created a line of nutrient boosters for each step of the skin care regimen.  Nutrifoliant is my first product and has met with great success.  I will send samples upon your request.

Just an FYI all Bio-Therapeutic equipment and I think product will be on sale next month, 25% off. The rep also told they do the sale in July.

Manual Microdermabrasion, which uses no machines, is a very effective way to exfoliate using microdermabrasion crystals, nutrients and any facial cleanser. Use Nutrifoliant Exfoliating Nutrient Powder with your cleanser and massage onto face for 1-2 minutes.  Results in a deep exfoliation and nutrient penetration in one application.  I will send samples of this product to anyone interested.  This is from a line Nutrient Skin Care which I formulate as well as use in my esthetician practice.  I am an esthetician degreed in microbiology and formulate products from the viewpoint "What does an ingredient do to create healthy skin."  Let me know if you would like product samples.

Hi ladies! I posted this last year and wanted to see if anyone who hasn't posted on here or currently using the Bio-Hydroderm machine finds it worth the big investment? Face and Body show is coming to SJ this August and Bio-Therapeutic will be there so I would like to know soon if possible! :)

Maybe you can contact Bio T and ask if there are any local spas using this piece of equipment. They may allow you a treatment if contacted by Bio T???

I use the Bio-Hydrodermabrasion machine daily. We implemented this piece of equipment into our medical practice over a year ago. Cost of ownership is minimal, results are amazing and patients love it. The company stands behind their equipment, products, and accessories. Customer service is very responsive. I highly recommend this technology, definitely worth the investment.

Hi , I am interested in trying your micro-polish. I just opened my own place after working at large spa's where I had access to micro and jet peel. I'm not able to purchase micro machine at this time so if you could send sample I would appreciate it.
