I want to learn how to Thread eyebrows.

Hello fellow professionals! I am wanting to learn how to do threading.  I have lots of clients who are showing interest. I am located in Missouri and was hoping I wouldn't have to travel too far for the certification.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I taught myself by watching YouTube videos, and going to get them done a few times...I'm not sure why you would need certification for this.

I tried so hard with the YouTube videos!  But I was practicing on my (blonde) knee hair, and just never saw a result.

Try doing it on your own brows, then on a friend.  It's fairly easy once you get the general idea.

Also, I've never had it done by a pro (although I have accompanied friends several times).. maybe that would give me a better idea of the pressure, etc.

The training is what I am looking for not necessarily the certification. I have seen the videos on YouTube as well but looking for some professional training.

Seventh Wonder Day Spa- they have a training DVD and threading starter kit for 89.00... They have in person classes too, but are located in Jacksonville Florida. Hope that helps.. :-)

I travelled 2 hrs for a class (I'm in WI and went down to Illinois)

Basically  it was a lot of googling to see where there was training.  

My class was 4 or 5 hours and was around $250.  I got much more out of that class than from youtube vids and books, and the instructor said I could come back for a refresher anytime, no charge.

That was at A Little Spa Institute in Wheeling, Il

 
It generally isn't regulated (in WI anyone can do it, you need NO license)
