Hi all!

I am new to eyelash extensions and am certified; however, I am trying to find a different company to order through. The company I am currently using does not carry many different kinds of lashes or curls and is quite expensive. I have found another site, thebeautycalleyelash.com, that has many different curls (J, B, C, D, L, Y, etc...) and was wondering if any of you have heard of this site? I have tried the glue (a recommendation from another esthy) and love it! Any advice or other lash recommendations for me?

Thanks for you help!

Hello,

I am using "Lash Forever" Professional Eyelash Extensions. I love the quality and the price. Their glue is also great, dries very quick. Let me know if you have any questions.

Love JB Lashes. Amazing product and satisfied clients every time. I have all Sorts of sizes and curls. Great company
I use both JB Lash and, more recently, Minkys. Both are great quality lashes at affordable prices. I have more experience with all the products from JB but I've been trying Minkys because their lash units are considerably less.
Samantha,
What is your best advice for extremely difficult "fills" most clients I have, come within a 2-3 week time frame. Some are so "messed up" I get very discouraged and my hour fill is turning into almost two with more work then I am getting paid :-/ (I can't confront clients on more work, more money)
Most of my regular clients, I have no problems with! Besides lash growth and educating the client on after care... Any advice helps! Sometimes I think a few really dont take care of them and it's more work for me! ugh!
Thanks
Messed up how? Have they lost many of their own lashes? Are the extensions clumped?

Some people have much more difficult lashes and you can decide whether or not they are good candidates for extensions. If you know you're applying the lashes correctly and cleanly and they still are experiencing too much damage to their own lashes then either put them on a break or advise them against extensions. But consider criticizing your own work as a possible cause. If most if your clients aren't experiencing these same issues then the fault is either with the client in not caring for them properly or their lashes aren't string enough to endure the weight of the extensions.

Best practice is to gently inform the client that their lashes are not withstanding the extensions well. Tell them that it's normal that some are not candidates for extensions and that they can still get them for special occasions and but that you recommend against repeat fills. Never let it be known to them that you suspect they are damaging their own extensions. That will never go down well for you.
Thank you for your detailed response :) I think you hit the nail on the head about some are just not good candidates for repeat fills! I have been specializing in extensions for quite a while now, but some issues I am still uncomfortable with. I have quite a bit of long time repeat clients (over a year and two) I don't rush any service as I am extremely meticulous about my work and always do exceptional work. I feel more so than some technicians. I love that because word of mouth is so powerful.
Messed up, meaning eyelashes are bent (resembling using an eyelash curler) I also have a couple self proclaimed pickers who pick out of habit and come for a fill and have pulled off so much that I am repeating almost a full set each time! One client may have too weak of lashes and is the reason for breakage. I just get a bit overwhelmed with a couple of my lovely ladies!
Thanks again :)

Thanks everyone! Actually another question... what are your most popular lengths and curls? In the company I am currently using, they only have J and C curl and they don't have any flares. Does anyone have experience with flares or any different curls?

JB just came out with a D curl! Wow! The before and after pictures on my client are amazing! They may just be my favorite! I use C quite a bit. I have more clients with a slight curl so C works great! I also carry Js just to have stock, but I hardly use them. I have all sizes and thickness as well:)
Lengths I have 9, 10, 11, 12 those are my most used. I also have a few divas that want thick 13, 14 length (I just started small and then stocked accordingly)

Thanks Julie! That was very helpful! I may have to try the Cs. My kit only came with Js and I do like those on most people and most are happy with them but it just depends on the person...

I think JB is having a promo right now for 5 lashes any size any style for $100 I believe its about $75 savings :)

C's are great ;) I have all sizes and all thicknesses

Glad to help!
