Hello everyone!

I currently carry Glymed at my spa and was looking for a second skin care line to carry as well that is more affordable for clients. Has anyone heard of Raya? I can't find very much information about it review wise. Do you have any suggestions of a line that you like?

I LOVE Skin Script RX. You really should check it out. 480-543-1121 SkinScriptRX.com i own my own business and have been using it from the beginning. Its a versatile, yet effective line. You can mix the products to increase the strengths, it is such a great line that I feel there is no need to carry another line. Its price point is a so affordable and the best part is my clients LOVE it! It sells itself, I cant keep it on the shelf. They also offer wonderful training not only in Tempe Az, but they travel just about every week all over the US. (And no, I don't work for them) :)

agreed!  Just started using skin script!  Have you heard they are having a valentines day special-Raspberry Peach enzyme with a dark chocolate mint mask!  Yummy! (no I don't work for them either!) LOL

Having seen your post, I checked out Raya's website. They do list full ingredient decks. I found some products that impressed me (many of their AHAs, and the presence of saponaria in some of their cleansers to reduce the reliance on synthetic surfactants) and some that were "meh" (some creams with hazelnut oil, which can rancidify quickly, and some where it looked like stearic acid might be too high on the list, causing irritation). With so many products available, you should certainly be able to find some that will match some of your clients' needs (although I would never recommend ousting your high-end line). You'll really just want to go product by product, carefully reading those ingredient labels, and determining where that 1% line is. Ingredients are listed in descending order until they reach 1%, so you always want to read a deck looking for the point at which ingredients switch from being greater than 1% to being 1% or less, and make sure that performance ingredients whose suggested use levels are over 1% are actually appearing above that line. This is mostly important where the ingredient needs to be over 1%, but can also be very helpful in the case of performance ingredients whose recommended use levels are far under 1%, because if you see them above that 1% line, you know you will need to raise your eyebrows and wonder whether the manufacturer is being truthful on their ingredient decks. Since you do already carry a well-known branded line, I'd recommend private labeling if you decide to go with Raya (or any other company that offers it) since you don't want your clients to wind up on Raya's site directly in the future.
For example, once you see a preservative, fragrance, or colorant, 99% of the time you have reached the 1% line (although it may occur higher).

Omg the reason I want to LEAVE image is that it is RAMPANTLY sold on the Internet. They have done NOTHING about it since the very beginning, yet they point to us and demand we don't sell on the Internet. Wtf? So much of my profit flies out the door to Amazon because there are thousands of listings for Image products. It a real shame. That's why I'm phasing them out. I love their products but a girl's got to make a living!
