I have a spot of soft wax on warmup pants. It is not the kind of wax that dries. It is a sticky, honey wax. I have removal products for equipment and for skin/hair, but what do you do to remove this type of wax if it gets on clothing?

"Goop" might work pretty well.  You can find it at the hardware store.

Is that the same as, "goo be gone"?

Thanks, Kim.

No, it's a jelly-like hand wash. It comes in a tube and it says "GOOP" on it fairly large

Ok - thanks!!

Have you ever had the unfortunate opportunity to use it on such a type of product (i.e. sticky, gooey, doesn't harden)?

Thankfully, no.  I hope it helps you!  I hate wax with a passion.

I always have luck with baby oil. Breaks that wax down pretty well. I wear a lot of black so I don't know about possible oil stain :)

It also works well in cleaning wax off wax pots.

That sounds promissing!

Yes! I always use baby oil and pure acetone :)
Hi Sally,
I use Abolene. You can get it at walgreens for about $10.00 its what our grandmothers used to remove makeup years ago. It looks and feels like vaseline. You just rub it into the waxy area really well and then throw it in the cold water laundry. It is going to look like a greasy mess, but it does not stain or leave any gooey residue. Its great.
It comes in a white round container with a blue lid. You can fing it near the cold creams, such as ponds cold cream makeup remover.

Thanks Tammi !

I knew this was just the place to pose this question.

I think having a product like this in the treatment room that I could dram for a customer if needed (rare, but it can happen) but also for the sheets and/or towels that sometimes get a little product on them, or for "us".

Thank you all so much!!

Sally, it also works great if your client moves while youre doing their brows, just rub some into their brow until it disolves, wipe it off well and start over waxing. ;)
This has happened to me before... I used a brown bag placed it on top of wax spot and than ironed it... The wax will them be absorbed into the brown bag, leaving nothing on the clothing.
