Some have there own salons (under different name) and or friends that own places that shouldn't be open due to various sanitary/ not following R&R in general.. I guess they get a free pass or over look those. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :)

When our state inspector c a me out, I was at a funeral so the owner that I booth rent showed her around. The owner kept calling me asking w here stuff was. Then, our o w net who is a massage therapist noticed the inspector had some back issues and gave her some stretches and a massage! Only my shop owner could turn her into a c client!!!

What state are you in? I as an owner/operator have an esthetician license and I am on file for my establishment.  One year when I was not at the spa and inspector came in and the only person working that day was my renter who is only a massage therapist.  She could not show the inspector around and they left their business card and left.

Indiana. The inspector was really angry at first because I wasn't there. Lol my owner and I are close so it ended up being hilarious. She also s o had a client on her table. Every few minutes during the funeral service, I'd get another txt. Where is the sharps container? Where are your cups? Etc.  Talk about nerve wracking.
