I know because of the tissue damage caused by cystic acne that laser is the only known treatment to improve the appearance, but is there any treatment to give any kind of a great result? I have a client coming to me in desperate hope of improvement and she doesn't want laser at all and she trusts me. Please give advice.

Hi Nora:  Scarring a tough one.  I have attached a protocol that has worked well for me.  Keep in mind that everyone responds differently so setting expectations is critical.  This is a nice, gentle, easy protocol with great results, but its an extensive series.  It is safe for Fitz 1-6.  You thoughts on this?

Lisa, i'm excited myself, just ordered  your products for this protocol, should get it in a day or two. Hope to see the results sooner than 3 months. I had acne problem two years ago, now it is clear but scarring left. Very excited

Great!  Keep in touch and let me know how it goes.

A quick update, my client was severely dehydrated so we took it slow with hydrating treatments and then she purchased her home care according to the protocol. We start this Sunday, so I will let you all know how it goes.

Nora - Good idea.  I would "up" the moisturizers and hydrating serum to compensate for dehydrated skin.  Try to use the homecare protocol, but adjust usage so you can get the results without over drying the skin.

Thank you Lisa, I will be incorporating electroporation with the hydrating serum to further hydrate the skin when there is no active acne. I am super excited about this protocol and my client is now that she's been using her homecare for a few days. I will purchase my dermafiles asap so that I can incorporate those on week 11. You are awesome and so is my trusted coach Shelly Hancock and Lori Crete. I don't know what i'd do without awesome women like y'all to help guide from wisdom. I'll keep you updated.

Anytime you are dealing with skin remodeling, you need to be realistic!

Lisa, that is a fabulous protocol.

Kristina - a 3 month protocol doesn't mean that you will have NO scars or pitting left...it means that you may have some improvement.  You need to think very long term and take very good care of your skin all the time!

Thank you so much Lisa the protocol makes perfect sense. It is the ideal approach, but until now there were no products that I knew of that would work on a fitz 5 without further scarring or not being effective enough. I am truly excited to have this type of guidance with a product line. I am beyond grateful that I attended your workshop in DC, she will be happy that there is something she can do.

Would this type of treatment work for people with orange peel texture of skin?

Hi Tracy - yes, this is a nice protocol for orange peel texture.  When I think of orange peel texture I think of collagen that doesn't lay correctly.  This person will benefit from peels best (laser, medical peels, or Skin Script's 12 week peels).

Where is the protocol I dont see it

Marlene - see the post from November 20 above.  It is attached there.  See page 2.
