I don't know why I am having problems all of a sudden getting all of the Retinol Scrub particles OFF the face lately but it's starting to really bug me!

Whether I use it with a cleanser or enzyme, I remove with a skin scrubber (sometimes), esthetic wipes, steam towel, and cotton rounds with toner right now. It's not a problem if I go right to a masque, but if I am doing a facial massage I feel like I am picking off the particles during the entire massage.

I guess I am going to have to start doing another cleanse...or any other ideas???

I sometimes have the same problem - I use a 4x4 and wipe the face to remove excess jojoba beads.  Anyone else?

Hello, I prefer to do the massage before the exfoliation because it puts the clients in relaxation mode right away and it avoids the excess scrubbers from being felt during the massage. By the time you complete the facial w the mask, tone cleanse, scrubbers are gone. :)

I was having that problem too. I use 4×4s and then follow with a warm towel to get them to relax a little more before the massage. What they don't know, is that I am using it to wipe away any left over particles. My clients have told me they love the warm towel. So I am going to keep it.
