Peels
I am in the process of changing peels that I currently use. I am looking for a heavy peel with great results. Looking for a peel that peels off sheets of skin. Any recommendations would be great! Thank you all for your time,

Osmosis Facial Infusions are not technically a "peel". Also requires client to be on one of their Treatment A serums for 30 days prior.
But I do think the OP should look into the Osmosis philosophy to gain insight on overexfoliation.

Thank you for your response. I currently use biodermetiques. When you say loads of down time do you mean longer than a week? I have used puramed before and liked the results.

I have used biodermetiques in the past and was thinking about revisiting their peels. Some of the peels I used from their line did cause sheeting. What about the line is causing you to change? I don't know many others who use this line and I would like to hear what you like and dislike about the line. I know the menthol can be irritating to some.

Yes the The menthol is aggravating to some clients. I like the peel products but I noticed the first peel I do on client has great results and peeling, the second time there's nothing even if it is months later. . So very inconsistent with results. Also the retailer I get them from is anyways out of stock. Which is very aggravating. .

Yes the customer service is my main reason I am hesitant to use the line. But the results with the first peel are great...

And WHY do you want to peel off "sheets" of skin?
There are many peels that are within an esthetician's scope of practice that gives nice results without excessive peeling. Higher % and lower pH...stronger peels are NOT always the answer. Higher risk of damage and HIP, and I am sure other liabilities should be a priority.
A smarter more effective treatment series would incorporate multiple modalities & proper homecare,

I already use different modalities and various types of peels. But I'm looking for a heavier peel for the older more damaged skin. But thank you for your opinion.

I also get a good sheeting with the Puramed TCA, their rep suggested i purchase the 10% and can add layers, which I knew, but she said you could layer it to equal say a 20 or 30%...i took it like she meant 2 layers 20, 3 equal 30....I could not get a clear explanation behind the suggested theory.
Puramed is priced right, but there is little education the Reps on the phone are hit & miss when you have a question..[reading to you from a manual type answers]..So you do need to have a trained eye, skin did not frost much even at 3-4 layers yet gets VERY red, you need to be comfortable with this. I did really like the results, heavy flaking-sheeting 3-6 days post treatment, skin is renewed smoother & even pigmentation. I had client on glycolic prep products, first did a lactic acid, next week a glycolic blend third week TCA, rest for 2-4 weeks then decide on the 4th after I see there skin. [FYI-.I was very interested in puramed serums, which were just OK, I will not be re-ordering.]
Have you looked into Image?? Excellent training, LOVE the customization with the additives for a unique more treatment oriented than just a peel service. Amazing results. All skin types I have tried respond beautifully, so many options no need to use anything else. I recommend you call Image to get a number for a rep in your area, Excellent training at no charge to help you with your search.
