Has anyone purchased this? How did it hold up? I'd like to buy an electric facial chair (preferred) or an electric massage table, however I do not have the $1,000 and up to cover that and I found this the other day for just shy of $600.

I don't have the electrical I have the hydraulic .    It's a nice chair but I've had a couple clients tip over in it.  If you have a slightly heavier set client and they move the wrong way it will tip. My client stretched her arms above her head while I was getting clean towels from a drawer and the whole think went backwards and she ended up doing a backward roll out of the bed on the floor.  Thank God she didn't crack her head on anything!! I had another client, a smaller framed girl, sit in the bed just a fraction too far to one end and it tipped up.   This may not be a problem with the electric beds since they have more weight... but just be aware :-)  Other than that, they are very nice beds for the money.

Oh my goodness. I'm so glad to hear that you're client was ok after the tumble! I am definitely reconsider this purchase. I have some older client and definitely do not want to risk hurting anyone, nor wind up getting sued. I guess I will just continue to search for a used one maybe. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me.

I would see if anyone has one to get their opinion.  Like I said, the electric chairs, I believe, have a much sturdier base.  Good luck :-)

Good idea. I will do a review search directly related to the electric one. Thanks.

I don't know about this chair but I will say I purchased a steamer from LCL a couple weeks ago and it came VERY banged up. They were great about replacing but I do not think the new steamer, even though in much better condition, is great quality. I would not reorder. Just FYI.

If you can.....I would wait and save, save, save and treat yourself to an Oakworks Electric table. Worth the investment!

Hi J.L. Thank you for your suggestion. I am going to save up for a righteous massage table but after thinking long and hard, I ordered the electric facial bed. I am.....so far....thrilled. I have to say my biggest concern, because after all it was free shipping to me, full refund if returned and the price was right, was the cost of shipping it back if it didn't live up to my expectations. I finally decided that it was worth the possible cost of returning it. If I found one used I would lose that and more with any problems so it was worth the risk for a new one with a warranty. Good news is it works great!!!

Thats great news.  I think with the heavier base you will be fine.  :-)

I'm fluffy so i tried it on me first. And so far so good!!! And it moves very slowly with me in or out of the chair. I'd personally like it to go quicker but I am sure my older clients will be thrilled with the slow adjustment.

Cool!  My hydraulic bed is very unstable.  I'm going to swap it out with my old 20 year old bed.  I'm anxious every time someone gets on or off.  :-O

Enjoy your new bed.  I think you made the right decision.
