new esthetician needs your help :)

Hello everybody,

I am very new to the esthetics. Do you have any recommendations for websites or companies to purchase simple things like esthetician jacket, gown etc. as well as equipment (steamer, mag lamp, microdermabrasion etc.)?

I have made the mistake of purchasing high dollar equipment, and then found equipment that is equal in performance and a fraction of the cost at LCL Beauty. They are great, stand behind their products. I've been dealing with them for years. You can get started for much less of an investment.

I would also check Craigslist too.  That is how I bought my steamer/mag light combo for like $125 in good condition.  I bought my microdermabrasion machine from amazon.  I did much research and read reviews.  If I saw estheticians remarking about a particular machine, I looked into it.  For uniforms, I would check local stores like Walmart, etc.  They will mainly have solid colors depending.  Keep your starting purchases simple.  I started my business with my own money.

Stay away from expensive steamers ! Universal Companies equipment is very expensive.  I find supplies are overpriced too
