Well folks if you cannot find your favorite Dermalogica product at Walmart, you can also check with Sears!

It is my personal opinion that any professional who carries this line, should boycott until they get this line OUT of Walmart and Sears.  I do NOT buy the lame excuse that someone bought a WHOLE boatload of their products and are underselling themselves to get Dermalogica in these big box stores.

It is wrong to undercut the very professionals who have put Dermalogica where they are today.

I use Sothys.

I followed Cindy's link to Sears. The Dermalogica products are all kits and the pricing varies - even for the same kits. Strange.

I didn't see all the brands mentioned above, but I was focusing on checking what they had re. Dermalogica.

Haven't checked the other stores.

Wow... This is crazy stuff!  My eyes are wide open now.

I would like to hear more about private labels.  How does that work? You choose what you want to carry and put your own label on it?  Can you all enlighten me?

Thanks!

I've heard YG Labs is good. What do you think of it Nondy?

Nondy! I want to make private label as part of my branding! Any ideas?

I am gonna to call the rep and ask them this. This is all very upsetting to our industry. The said think is anyone can go on the net and get all of these lines too. But for them to sell to these stores is really bad. They surly do not value us as professionals. It boils down to the almighty dollar. And a real lack of integrity like I have already said.

I went on-line at Sears.com and wrote a letter of complaint, noting that Obagi is definetly not a product that should be sold on-line. They sent me back the lamest answer, just repeating what I said. I wonder if these are real products or black-market copies?  If they are the real deal, can you imagine what can happen to people who buy a para-med skin care product without the advice of an expert?

well..... that would be a shame for sure..... but the liability would fall at the feet of Sears and Obagi, so they're taking a real risk.

I just finished a product knowledge webinar with Image (received my order today) and I am soo impressed with their very strong stance on keeping their product line ONLY in the hands of the individual professionals- NOT internet or big-box or beauty supply or any other form of retailing. I say we just show our refusal to accept that level of betrayal by sticking only with the lines that DO have our best interest at heart- not just their bottom line.

Except that Dermalogica has always promised the same thing...

Both BST and YG Labs have web sites, so your best time would be to take a look there, and then ask for their packet of information and a few samples...  Basically, yes you choose what you want get labels, and voila!

I talked the the Dermalogica Rep today. She said that all the reps have been told to look at all there accts and see whom is ordering much larger orders then normal and report that to them.Dermalogica doesn't have an acct with Sears at all and the company is very upset about this.

It is someone ordering and selling it to Sears. She also said that Sears or before it has gotten to Sears .. has taken the tracking labels off the products so it cannot be tracked. They cannot sue Sears because they are buying it from a third party. So Dermalogica is tying to find out whom Sears sources are. So they are very upset about all this. I hope this information helps.

BS.  Dermalogica has computers.  They already have access too all the information they need to nail this large of an oder(s) down.  All they have to do is take a look at their orders going out from the company...

Geesh.
