Just curious what sunscreens everyone is using personally, in treatments or retailing?

I get great feed-back from my PCA spf's.  They have several to choose from based on skin type and I use it in my back-bar.  It's recommended through the Skin Cancer Foundation also-which I like ")
Thanks Heather! I've never actually tried PCA products but I've been hearing about them recently, i think i will definitely check them out soon.

You are welcome Tatiana!

The only thing with PCA is that you have to attend their training in order to purchase their product.  No minimum order & you get credited back in product what you spend on the class.  The training is top-notch & well worth the investment.

I've had Bioelements for the past couple years & got poor feed back on their SPF from many of my clients. They felt that the product sat on top of their skin & left it feeling oily.  They don't have as many choices as PCA either & it's  not skin specific like PCA.  You may want to try and get samples of each & compare for yourself before making a decision.

Thats actually great to hear Heather! I'm always looking for lines that offer extended learning with their products. Even if i have to invest a little more money, its worth it, and getting the money credited back for products makes it even more so. I'll have to look into that.

Yeah i have had amazing feed back and experiences with Image so thats why i decided to start with them. I'm trying other line's products just to see what i will want to add when i start expanding. Does PCA offer information on its classes online?

Yes, I believe if you go to www.pcaskin.com you can get the class schedule.  If not, let me know & I can email it to you.

I think I will take a look into Image-I am looking to replace my Bioelement line with another....Once Bioelements started selling out of the Beauty 360 in my area, which is available to the public, I decided to move on.

Thank you Heather. There is a place to find all their classes on the website, I'm excited to start looking into this line!

Yes i highly recommend checking Image out, My favorite products are the Vital C hydrating anti-aging serum (you can never start too early!), smells amazing and feels like a cream cleanser, and the Vital C Hydrating cleanser.

They also have a great selection of spf's that i love and an amazing peel treatment line, which you do have to take classes for, but we used these peels in school and they left our skin soft and glowing as soon as we got off the table and all are customers felt the same way. They even make a passion fruit peel used with their Ormedic line for sensitive skin (my mommy-to-be's love this one) that i started to favor over their Glycolic peel for myself, which is still exceptional!

I have had good feedback about the BioElements SPF 15 & SPF 50.  I do wish they had an option for oilier skin clients - perhaps a physical only.  For me, I use the BioElements 15 (since I love the feel/smell) and I have recently purchased the HydroPeptide SPF 30.  It is weird, feels gritty.  Smells awesome, though.

Looking forward to the responses here!

Julia

Hi Julia, again BioElements is a line i haven't personally tried yet. I have a oilier t-zone and always opt for the oily skin option with sunscreens, other wise i find them to feel greasy sooner or later. But a friend of mine uses the BioElements 50 SPF FaceScreen and loves it!
The Image Daily Defense sunscreens are amazing. I LOVE the matte- it contains microsponges that REALLY control oil ALL DAY. I have very oily skin. I seldom wear makeup on my face anymore b/c the matte just smooths my skin right out and keeps it that way. Plus, it's a physical sunscreen of SPF 30. and smells WONDERFUL.
Hi Gina, yeah I'm actually currently using the image daily defense matte as well! i do really love it! Im combination skin, pretty normal but my t-zone is hard to control, so this is the first spf i have found that i like to wear. I have always been a HUGE fan of Image products. I was trained with it in school and have been using it personally since. I have actually chosen Image to start as my main product line for services and retail, Great products!
