Another silly topic for a rainy day! LOL

I have found that I don't really like to wear my nicer clothes in my treatment room... but I want to look nice.... and I am MOST comfortable and "myself" in a fun top, fun shoes, and jeans.

Is this a total "faux pas"?!?!

(I do wear a long black apron over whatever I'm wearing when I'm doing a treatment)

I've toyed with getting a "uniform", too, but I know I'd quickly tire of that.

@ Kristina I also like the Koi scrubs. Just wondering if you work in a medspa or Dr's office?

No I work as the only esthetician in a salon/spa

Thanks Kristina. I'm working in the same type of environment. It's a struggle each morning trying decide what to wear. Nice scrubs would make my life easier. Thanks for sharing.

I rent a room in a salon and am my own boss.  I went to Wal mart and purchased some white scrub tops and had my logo embroidered on them.  They are comfortable.  I wear them with black yoga pants also comfortable.  I do not wear them all the time but most of the time.  Some days when waxing is all I am doing I will wear nice jeans a nice top and an apron.  I do like the uniform concept tho. It helps with the "what do I wear" issue.
Hello! Great thread! I am an independent esthetician in a wellness center. I find that my rapport with clients leaves a far bigger impression that my clothes, but that being said I mix it up! On occasion I wear jeans, but mostly black jeggings (Jean like leggings) because they are more comfortable. Usually a cute top, often black because it's easy but not necessarily. When I'm in the mood I sometimes wear a black Greys anatomy scrustop from Sears with black cargo pants and black sneakers. I love wearing boots this time of year because I get lots of compliments. Don't be afraid to be be yourself!!!si
**scrubs top!!  (thanks auto-correct!)
