Well folks if you cannot find your favorite Dermalogica product at Walmart, you can also check with Sears!

It is my personal opinion that any professional who carries this line, should boycott until they get this line OUT of Walmart and Sears.  I do NOT buy the lame excuse that someone bought a WHOLE boatload of their products and are underselling themselves to get Dermalogica in these big box stores.

It is wrong to undercut the very professionals who have put Dermalogica where they are today.

Yikes, I had no idea. That really is too bad. I'm glad I still have Dermaquest on my side. ;)

Yes you are right! The products I bought at Sears were shrink wrapped!
The appeal to some customers is that Sears has a price match guarantee policy, in store or on line. If you find the product on line listed at a discounted price they will match it plus give you 10 percent more off your purchase. This can amount to as much as 35 percent off the retail price. ....
I wholeheartedly agree with you!

Dermalogica, just as all other manufacturers use this as a ploy. hey lie and claim it is a store going out of business. If that were true-the products would be old stock and mismatched grouping.

The truth is in the display on the shelfs. If it is a strong representation of all products offers and fully stocked-this is known as a retail buy. The mfg's clai salons ad spas dont sell enough retail to keep hem afloat. They create retail purchases for big box retailers or chain department stores. Loreal is the biggest conglomearate that turns every professiona product line they assimilate (buy out) and place it on retail selves under the guise of a retail account.

Really Nondy that is fantastic! Can you send me the specs on the property!

What about Wilma Schumann european skin care?  They have a strong profitablity, its simple, and you see the results almost instantly.  They sell to high-end clinics, medical practices, and SPAs.  Call them at 800-440-3032

I was horrified when I heard this!

Amen

What a pity!  Dermalogica is now no longer a Professional skin care product.  It may still be a great skin care line, but I would never recommend it now nor would I stock in my salon.

This is also a move by the manufacturer to bolster the company's bottom line ... at the end of the day it seems that money is always the winner.

Amen! Stand strong lady's maybe oneday they will respect our industry. It's all about the retail dollars out here. So If we dont sell more products manufacturers will sell their soules away! Let's get back to doing what we do best, that is great skin care service. Were at war out here tryn to hold on to what we work so hard to buid. Were Estheticians! By the way Sears are closing their stores! Not a good move!

I would not agree more.  I work for a salon supply company that sells Moroccan oil and we have our salons sign an anti diversion agreement.  If they get caught selling online or in big lot's guess what?  No more for them.  They take it so seriously that each and every product has a unique bar code so it can be tracked back to the original buyer.  As licensed specialists we are providing special services and products that clients should only be able to purchase through us.  Ugh it makes me so mad.
