Finding a good rental space for new business
Hello,
This is my first post here and I wanted to know what others have done to
find a good rental space. I've been looking on craigslist under both commercial rentals and
help wanted areas, and the local paper for space as well as driving by area's that I would like.
I'm not into renting from a hair salon, but would consider a space with a massage therapist, or
a single space if it wasn't too expensive. For now, I want to do waxing only, and if I'm busy
enough bring in skin care. Any advise on how to find the right space, a good area and high
traffic area would be ideal but I haven't seen anything affordable. I saw a good space on a
main st but they wanted $18.00 a sq ft. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Sonja, I am also looking on Craigslist for a small space/room. I only do eyelash extension services.

I looked on Craigslist and Loopnet as well. Hopefully I will be closing very soon. As far as doing eyelash extensions only its really up to how your state regulates lash services. For example, in Ohio we have to be licensed. To not be in violation of State Board Regs you would have to get a salon license and many places hear salon and want to run. Just be mindful of your zoning and regs
