I am moving into my own office space, and am debating whether or not to offer spray tanning. I use only organic skincare, and found a couple of companies that have somewhat organic ingredients but am not sure if I should add it to my services...anyone spray tan?

I say yes. It is quick, easy and pretty low cost ratio. Will you have room for a tent?
Hi, Yes I will have room for a tent, but there are alot of machines and companies I can't decide!! LOL! any suggestions on a machine?
I am not an expert on organic skincare or organic sunless tanning, but my machine is SunFX and I really love it. It is fantastic for me. I have the smaller version. They also say all of their products are organic. But I don't know if that is really true or not. I got it at a tradeshow and they reduced the price to 425 from 500 for me. Got two guns, several bottles of solution and other goodies. So I recommend negotiating!
Their formulas are probably not organic, but most companies use Organic DHA, the key tanning ingredient. You have to beware though, because lots of things say vegan or organic but include alcohol or mineral oil! So the DHA may be organic, but the other 12-20+ ingredients probably aren't! Get the ingredient listing.
PS. If you search "spray tanning" on here you will find several threads that can give you even more insight from others too.
Thanks for all your help Lauren!! I'll look into it ;o)
Where do you find the search link on this site?
You bet! I hope you find something you like and it works well for you! XOXO
Thanks me too! xo
VIP Premium blends has an organic formula. Instead of DHA they use Caramel! I have used it and it looks great, while I am not predominantly organic, I have this on hand because there are clients that would prefer it. I absolutely love having spray tanning as an option of services that I offer. It is relatively easy to do and people honestly love it, if the color is right. The only problem with the organic I have found is that it tends to take longer to dry and feels slightly sticky. They have other formulas as well and I have NEVER had anyone say they feel orange or anything. Check them out. Let me know if you do. If you want you can email or call them, my contact is Michael and he can help you out. If you want to use their products, I beleive their prices are less than what is stated on line. I don't rep the company or get anything from them if I refer people but I truly LOVE their product.

Hi Sheila - I am checking out VIP's Naturelle blend, but they told me it does contain DHA (all the tanners do in order to activate with the skin). The difference is in the guide color...aka the "stain" that initially appears. This one has a caramel stain versus a pigment.
I spoke with Thomas. He said there's a video on their facebook page rebutting the DHA controversy. I didn't have a chance to look up the video, but here's a link for those who are interested.
