I would like to start offering hydra facials. I was looking to purchase a machine, but they vary in price from $250 to $4000. Can anyone offer any suggestions, recommendations, or referrals? Does anyone use a hydra dermal machine?

A lash lift and black tint was done on one of my clients. The tint on her upper lashes took very well but her bottom lashes did not get nearly as dark, nor did it last very long. I'm guessing that the upper lashes took better because they were chemically processed by the lift, where the lower lashes were not, but she wants them the same color. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the tinting product that was used, maybe it just wasn't a very good one, or because of the lift process.…

So, before I give her any advice or try anything to help her with this, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and,if so, what did you do to help your client? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated by the both of us!!
Hello skin-pro-world!

Is there an Electrologist who can share insight?

I am looking to get trained so I can add this service to my skincare practice, however it's at least $10 grand for training and equipment; any ideas you can share would be awesome!

I do microdermabrasion facials. But I do not use steam and I am having a hard time doing extractions after. Any tips? They just won't come out!

Fellow skin care specialists: I've held off on purchasing a microneedling machine, as I was waiting for the phenomenon to fine-tune it's offerings. I'm ready to make the purchase. Before doing so, I'd like to know if anyone has an opinion on which instrument they like best. I'm curious, too, about the Eclipse and the SkinStylus - so if you have something to add, please do. Thanks, Julia

Can anyone provide first hand feedback about the NuFace device? Or any other similar devices you might be using or have used? I am interested in purchasing, but want to do my research first. Thanks much.

Hi all.

I have two questions. Initially, I am looking to upgrade my microcurrent machine and want some recommendations as to quality brands you'e had experience with.

Also, I want to add microneedling to my service menu but am interested in a brand that might offer some additional training/ information on post care and treatment plans. Or, some good resources that I can find to train myself.

Please let me know. Thanks.

I live and work in Burbank, CA. Does anyone know of a school, academy or esthetics business in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley CA area that is currently teaching/training licensed estheticians on Sugaring? I know I can go to UTube and watch videos, but I'd like a more formal, hands on training. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone! I will be using Image skincare products in my treatment room, which is new to me (we used dermalogica in school). What products do you use pre and post waxing with Image? Also, any recommendations for products to use as a back treatment? Thank you!
