1. Is RA worth it? I love Skin Scipt's education, easy to follow protocols, and simple approach to skin care. However, a lot of my clients have complained that they don't like the products, and I have to admit I'm not crazy about things like their eye creams or moisturizers. Maybe there's something I'm not doing in the treatment room that is preventing the full benefit of Skin Script?

2. If you do recommend RA, what are some of your must have's for backbar and retail?

I really want my services and retail to be affordable, but I also believe that skin care is an investment, so I'm torn.

As an esthetician, what is your favorite skin care line? I am still a student, and we use Dermalogica at our school, and so far I do like it. I've been to a few courses by Circadia, and I am very impressed with their skin care products. I've had good results with CosMedix as well. I've heard Obagi is great, but I haven't had any experience with it. What are your favorite lines/brands?

Thanks!

Hello-

I was wondering how people stay organized with Mobile Skin services? Do you have any gadget that is super helpful that you can share? I have a Mobile Spray Tanning business and have that down to a science.. but adding skin care with all of those potions, lotions and mobile equipment.. is challenging! Any feedback or advice would be appreciated.

I have had some serious personal stressors in my life since March and like most women I chose NOT to deal with ANY of them...rather I dove into work, dove into my social life, dove into junk food, dove into ANYTHING that wasn;t healthy, wasn't soulful, wasn't therapeutic, was in EVERY way not good for me...

Well, it has taken a toll in MANY ways...I have had to notify my clients that I am taking the entire month of Aug off...I have gotten myself very sick...I am also dealing…

Well, it has taken a toll in MANY ways...I have had to notify my clients that I am taking the entire month of Aug off...I have gotten myself very sick...I am also dealing with a wicked muscle, nerve or possible vertebrae problem (seeing 2 chiro's, 1 doc, PT and have an MRI scheduled for this Fri)

PLEASE remember that we MUST nurture ourselves!!!!!!! People come to us for the very things that we might be going through ourselves...we have to take care of ourselves...we have to address relationship issues, work issues, health issues, fears, anxieties, children, economic, etc...the stress we warn our clients about is REAL and can hurt, damage and derail us...

Vent here, reach out here and perhaps there are local practitioners to see and receive nurturing...

I have BIg plans for when I am well again...yoga, aquatic exercising, walking, perhaps even using an exercise ball rather than a chair in my treatment room...

We are valued by our clients and families...we need to value ourselves MORE :)

Namaste and rock-n-roll!!!
