There's no group for Rhonda Allison users, so I thought I'd make one :) Anyone out there?
I'd love to hear what everyone's favorite RA protocols are. What's getting you the best results?
I just did the Kojic Clay TCA for hyper pigmentation (subbed TCA/Sal instead of TCA/AHA cause I'm glycolic sensitive and acne prone so I could use the extra sal). Wow! It was hot! I frosted some, too!
I don't have a lot of experience with this line but I love the blushed wine gel...I would def use on myself but I live in an area where people just don't have the $$$... Thanks for the group! maybe you can get lots of members so I can learn more about what users think!!!
So, I was impressed with how the Kojic Clay worked! I actually didn't peel much at all, just flaking, which I was surprised at. It took a full week for all the flaking to go, BUT my PIH was lightened! A few more TCAs and I think it'll be perfect :)
What is everyone's most Popular RA Protocols?
I think I use the skin brightening enzyme and pepsin/papain enzyme the most. For peels, I use the Apple Wine quite a bit too, because it works well and is very tolerable pain-wise.
I have a client who is of Indian descent Fitz 5 with mild acne on cheeks and occasional whitehead on forehead and chin.
I used enzymes with steam and then used H2O2 as desincrustation solution. Some of the whiteheads were extremely impacted, and I may have extracted to hard (well, I did). She now has a very dark pigmented area on her forehead. She is very upset.
She does have some very dark pigmentation from previous acne, so we had been talking about a mid-depth peel (she doesn't want to get a deep peel). So, which peel or protocol should I be using on her? I thought of the Kojic Clay TCA. This protocol doesn't include the Melanin Suppresant and I was wondering if it could be added at some point. Or any other suggestions?
Ally, I have melasma myself. I believe it's at the dermal phase because NOTHING gets rid of it. I tried the entire brightening system and nothing. I even did the kojic peel and nothing. I know it takes time, but it keeps growing like weed! I think my next recourse is fraxel. What do you think?
Youre welcome. Ive learned because Ive had pigment issues as well a coupld years ago, slow and steady wins the race. It may seem like a long time, but took me a couse of 2 years to get rid of pigmentation. Let us know how it goes.
I personally like the Pca Skin Perfecting Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 30. It has licorice, mulberry and bearberry in it to help with evening out the skin tone. It is one of those spfs where it only takes a little. It leaves like an slight matte finish.
