makeup for bodybuilding contest - need help!!
Dear fellow makeup artists:
I am sponsoring a female bodybuilder who will be competing next month. I am in charge of her overall appearance. from what I've heard from other bodybuilders, they need a different kind of special makeup application. First, they need to bronze their skin (which she is already doing), wear a special lubricant to make her body shiny and that she's taking care of. The lighting is so intense that even facial fuzz can be seen!
Any suggestions as to what I can do? Do you recommend HD foundation, concealer AND powder? she is very blonde (natural). Her outfit is like a teal/turquoise blue. Any suggestions as to what colors to use? I've been doing skincare for bodybuilders for some time now, and the opportunity to be a makeup artist for one finally came and I am excited! But I've never done it and I am nervous. Please, send me suggestions :-) thank you!!

well, I am happy to report: the competition is over! This is obviously not a good picture where you can appreciate the makeup (I took it with my phone), but here is the gorgeous contestant! I was there at 5am - she needed to be ready by 7am!! I also applied the bronzer all over her body. There were 2 judging times - morning and evening. I was supposed to go back to refresh her makeup and make sure everything was still good. She texted me at 2pm telling me that her makeup was intact and that her makeup was better applied and more beautiful than the other contestants! This was my first time doing some serious stage makeup and as you can imagine, I am super excited about the feedback. THANK YOU to all of you who offered advice. I definitely followed them all. The fixative spray suggestion was awesome!! THANK YOU, fellow estys!!!
