  • Angela DeNorscia

    Thanks Danielle,

I'll check it out. Has anyone tried Spa Booker?

  • Shelley Hancock

So, this last Thursday I spent the entire day (from 7:30am to 6:30pm!) inside a professional filming studio in San Francisco. I was working with RejuvenAirO2, shooting their marketing and training videos for their new machine that will be available in January. What a fun day but very exhausting. The lights are so hot and by the end of the day I felt like I was about to melt! I got to use a teleprompter for the first time. I felt like a news anchor!! It was a great experience. I'll let you all know when the finished videos are out.

My Real Transformation OxyPro Infusion Serum is ready to go! The feedback we've been getting from our clients has been two thumbs up. This serum is to be used with an oxygen machine, so whether you've purchased a machine from me or from another source on the internet...I think you'll really love this serum! Here's some more info:

  • Angela DeNorscia

Thank you Jennifer....sigh, its so overwhelming still to me. Just in general. Last one that I'll ask about....lol......promise. Has anyone tried Hair Max soft wear?

  • Shelley Hancock

I'm taking the show on the road next year!! I'm teaming up with Lisa from Skin Scripts. Our first two events will be in San Diego and Los Angeles on January 29th and 30th. I'll be bringing all of my toys for "Shelley's Show and Tell". You'll get to see live demonstrations (and maybe even be the model for the day!). The workshops are FREE and we even serve you a nice lunch! Registration will be up on my website soon.

Need some hands on microcurrent experience? I have a fabulous trainer coming to the Center on January 22nd for an in-depth microcurrent workshop. Details and registration are on my website.

  • Shelley Hancock

Have you read my latest story called "Crepey Arm Syndrome"? Not I didn't say creepy, although for me crepey is a bit creepy!

Let me know what you think!

  • Leslie lanthorn

Can anyone help me integrate micro current into my classic facial?  The rep says that I can't massage or use anything with oil including a mask.  I'd like to use it as an add on but can't figure out how to go about it.  Any imput would be great!  Thanks!

  • Shelley Hancock

Hi Leslie...I like to end my treatments with a few minutes of microcurrent to get that last bit of lift. I'm not a big fan of spending a lot of time doing microcurrent. I use my Real Transformation Serum (actually it was formulated for mcirocurrent treatments) so when I'm finished with the microcurrent, all I have to do is put on a sunscreen and they're good to go.

  • Shelley Hancock

I'm so excited about the feedback I'm getting from my Firming Body Spray! I received an email yesterday from an Esthetician that purchased a couple of weeks ago. She's using it on her decolletage and upper thighs and she says she's noticing a difference already! I had a client (late 60's) come in yesterday that has been using it on her neck for four weeks now. The first thing she said when she walked through the door was "look at my neck". There was a significant difference and she was thrilled. She purchased another bottle! If you haven't read my crepey arm story that started this whole new product, please have a look: http://www.shelleyhancock.com/crepeyarms.html

  • Tia Bellisle

Just ordered. Excited to get it!!

  • Zola Nemorin

    Shelley,

I red about the microcurrent machines on your website. What is the difference between the machines on your site and a more advanced machine?

  • Shelley Hancock

Hi Ginger, thanks for your question. I have owned and used more adcanced expensive microcurrent equipment and got nice results but....this is just my personal thing and not all would agree with me. I am not a huge fan of microcurrent, so I use an inexpensive unit for just 5 to 6 minutes at the end of my treatments to give a little boost. My other equipment does such great work that I don't feel like I need to spend the time that a full microcurrent treatment takes. At the moment I don't even have any microcurrent units on my website because the two that I'm using you can purchase for really inexpensive other places and I don't want to raise the price because you're going through me. I'd be more than happy to let you know where you can get them!

  • Zola Nemorin

Thank you for responding to my question Shelley. I would greatly appreciate that! I was wondering why you call them more advanced, is it the out put, or the fact that you can do more detailed work? Also when are you coming to Atlanta, we would love to have you here.

  • Anita

    Dear Shelley,

Have you used Neova yet, I have not invested in these products, but would love your output.

    Anita

  • Shelley Hancock

Ginger...you are right on it when you said more detailed. There is something called a wave form in microcurrent. The simple machines have a single wave form where as the advanced will have multiple. If you are wanting to do microcurrent as a treatment by itself, I suggest you invest in a unit with multiple wave forms. Unfortunately I'm going to have to pass on the trip this time that Lisa from Skin Scripts is making to Atlanta. Next time around though!

Anita...I have to say that I haven't given Neova the all American try. I opened them and felt them and smelled them and my first reaction wasn't WhooHoo...so, they went up on the shelf. Now that I'm back from doing the seminars in Southern California, I thought I'd bring them home and use them for a couple of weeks to make an educated opinion this time! I'll keep you posted!

  • Shelley Hancock

I had so much fun with Lisa from Skin Scripts doing our seminars down in Southern California! I am planning on being with her in Chicago on April 29th. I am putting together Denver in May. Also, I will join her in Arizona at her facility in the next couple of months.

Please join me here at my Center on either March 4th or 5th for a full day of  "Shelley's Show & Tell". We will learn about and play with all of the equipment I use successfully in treatment. I will be using Skin Script during my demos to show you how I incorporate Lisa's fabulous products. Also, Louise Jefferson, the Esty that formulates my specialty products will be here to go in-depth about the ingredients and why we are getting such great results. The seminar is FREE and lunch will be served. I hope you can join us! Register on my website.

  • Zola Nemorin

Which do you prefer: Multi-function or single equipment modules?

  • Shelley Hancock

Ginger....I don't really have a preference. If I find a piece of equipment that has multiple functions, it's effective, it's made well and it's affordable....I'd be interested in it. Everything I use is single module equipment though. They have one function but that one function helps many different skin conditions, so I'm getting more bang for my buck! Hope this helps!

  • Shelley Hancock

I just bought a new toy! An Esty that found my website and called me told me that she had purchased this piece of equipmnet and was loving it. It took me a good three weeks after she told me about it to finally start checking into it. I did some poking around, watched a couple of videos on YouTube and became totally intriqued. I made a call to Isabel at their headquarters and we connected immediately. Two days later I was giving her my credit card info!!  She and one of the company's trainers are actually coming out from the East Coast to my next seminar on March 4th and 5th! This is soooo exciting. Okay, are you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting to know what this equipment is? Here ya go: http://www.shelleyhancock.com/smoothsculpt.html

  • Katherine Neiman

Shelley, I'm curious what your favorite skin care lines are? ;-)
  • Shelley Hancock

Hi Katherine...I'm super happy using Skin Scripts for back bar and retail. I found Lisa from Skin Script about 2 years ago and switched products after using the same product line for 23 years. That says a lot, that it was good enough for me to make the switch. My clients are really happy with the switch also. Her prices are reasonable fro su and for our clients. She's a class act!

I also use HydroPeptide. I found them at the Face and Body Show and bought their trial kit. It's very good. I feel like it's geared more toward the mature skin. We do a treatment that we call "The Power Peptide" using all of their products. It's a great treatment.

  • kathryn Barrel

    Shelley,

I was thinking about adopting Skin Scripts, too. Do they require a minimum order? I recently won a package that included the peeling series.

  • Shelley Hancock

No minimums and only $5 shipping no matter the size of your order! Feel free to contact me if you want to chat about which products we use the most in treatment. They are all good!

  • Shelley Hancock

Dermafile Update: There are no more sets of Dermafiles available. The owner of Dermafile and myself are out of stock. She has been working with a new manufacturer to make new, even better files. We will be placing a limited order the middle of March. We are offering a special to those that pre-order the new Dermafiles! FREE shipping and a FREE surprise gift. Go to my website to order: http://www.shelleyhancock.com/dermafile.html

  • Shelley Hancock

Our seminar yesterday was SO MUCH fun! We had a full room of Estys. I did my "Shelley's Show & Tell" and then we played with all of the equipment. The SmoothSculpt was a huge hit. Two of the main gals from the company were here from the East Coast telling us all about it and demonstrating. We're repeating the whole thing again today with a whole new group of Estys. We decided that because of how much equipment I'm accumulating, we had better buy a big ol' bus to travel take our show on the road! We're just having too much fun! Have a great day everyone...Shelley

  • Heather Capitanich

    Shelly-

Great program you put together today!  Can't wait to see what my skin feels like tomorrow morning from my Smooth Sculpt treatment....I'll keep you posted!

  • Shelley Hancock

Thanks Heather. I think we all had a lot of fun! The SmoothSculpt is fabulous. I'm working on my first client tomorrow.

I'm starting to plan my trip to Chicago with Lisa from Skin Scripts. We'll be there on April 29th and 30th. I'll have detials up on my website soon.

  • Shelley Hancock

We got our Sonic Life machine all set up yesterday and took it for a ride! WhooHoo...I slept like a baby last night. It's full body vibration that gives you an hour worth of cardio or 90 minutes of yoga in a ten minute session. It's using sound waves to shake you up at a cellular level. Incredible.  We are giving each client a free session to get them hooked! After that it will be $20 per session and I can imagine that not only will they do it every time they come for a facial, but on a weekly basis...it's kinda addicting! You can read about it and watch a short video here:

    http://www.shelleyhancock.com/soniclife.html

  • Shelley Hancock

I wrote a new article for my "Let's Chat" page yesterday. It's kinda a fun one. Please have a look when you have a free moment and let me know what you think! http://www.shelleyhancock.com/letschat.html

  • Shelley Hancock

The other day I pulled out a medium body dermafile to use on a clients face (all of my face files were in the sanitizer). I LOVED it. I actually liked the bigger size of the file. The new Dermafiles that will be coming in next month are actually larger in diameter than the originals...I'm happy about that! But, I'm loving this body file thing. I have them on sale on my website. They were originally $69 each...you can grab one for just $40!! Here's the link: http://www.shelleyhancock.com/dermafile.html

  • Shelley Hancock

I getting ready to head out for Chicago on Saturday morning and I am so excited!! Last I heard we had about 220 registered for the two workshops! I'm looking forward to meeting some of you in person and spending the day with you playing. See ya then!

  • Shelley Hancock

What fun we had in Chicago! Met some really wonderful Estys. I'm heading back to California today. It's always fun to travel but I always look forward to getting home to my own bed! I'll be joining Lisa (Skin Scripts) for more workshops in the East Coast soon. Watch fo details!

  • Shelley Hancock

I'll be in Southern California on Monday May 21 giving a business success workshop. It'll be in Orange County...full details on my website soon!

Lori Crete will be speaking about how to market yourself, your products and your treatments. I will be sharing all of my sucess stories with equipment and how to combine modalities. AND we have a special bonus speaker who will help us all understand the different pieces of equipment and how and why they work on the skin - more details to come!  I can't wait to see some of you and help you increase your income!

  • Shelley Hancock

I'm super excited! Just got in the retail size of the OxyPro Serum. We call it "Real Serum Booster" to be used under my "Real Transformation Serum" along with my "Real Eye serum".....hmm, do you see a theme happening here? :-)

  • Raquel Solis

Shelley! This is Raquel, I have recently got the FDS toy =) and I'm fascinating to know more about your new toy ! Can you please, call me !!!!! I need you to work on my body really!! I want to come in to your studio seriously !!!!
  • Shelley Hancock

  • Shelley Hancock

Hi everyone..I just put up my June "Let's Chat" story on my website. I can't believe that I actually got it done early and that I actually wrote two short stories. Had a lot on my mind this month to share!! Hope you have an AHA moment from them or at least a connection. Let me know what you think!  http://www.shelleyhancock.com/letschat.html

  • Barbara Paswaters

    Shelly,
I was doing a deep back clease on a client that has blackheads that are embedded pretty deep and was unable to get them out. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to help my client out? Should I use one of skiscripts enzymes? If so which one do you think would work best... Thank you for your input!
  • Shelley Hancock

Hi Barbara...I would go for the pomegranite (2% salicylic/11% lactic) for the blackheads or the pumpkin enzyme. The pumpkin is the strongest and may penetrate the thicker back skin best. I would start with a microderm before applying the enzyme....or some people like to enzyme first and then microderm.

  • Shelley Hancock

Great workshop scheduled on August 19th down in Los Angeles called "Empowering Estheticians". Four industry veterans will be sharing their success tools (I'm one of them...WhooHoo!). Details here:

    http://www.shelleyhancock.com/seminarstraining.html

Also, I'll be in Colorado with "Shelley's Show & Tell" next month. Look for details on my website soon!

  • Shelley Hancock

I spoke at an Esthetic school yesterday and boy have things changed since I went to school 25 years ago! They actually had a setup where I was on camera so everyone in the class could see up close and personal what I was doing. Their treatment room had 20 beds and very nice steamers in it. I think we had two!! I spoke to the Summer advance class and boy did they have a lot of great questions. I had such a fabulous time!!

  • Christine Byer Esthetics

Hi Shelley.  Here's a fun video I did showing how facial microcurrent and oil do not mix! http://youtu.be/U18nSkEiAeI   I thought you might like the experiment I do here.

  • Shelley Hancock

    Christine.....thank you. Great video!!!

  • Christine Byer Esthetics

Shelley, would your Real Serum Booster work well with microcurrent? Is it water based?
  • Shelley Hancock

I'm definitely scheduled to travel to Colorado next month. The "Shelley's Show & Tell" workshop will be on Sunday July 22nd. It will be in the Littleton area. I will be bringing all of my toys to play with and we'll also talk about marketing ideas. You can register on my website at: http://www.shelleyhancock.com
