Have understood that zero peels are ok during pregnancy. Dermafile and microdermabrasion would be ok.

Glycolic and and mandelic serum are ok, but must check with o.b. for final ok.

no retinol or salicylic serums during pregnancy or nursing. Benzoyl peroxide ok up to 5 percent. No laser.

From my research, but client must ok any topicals with physician. I hope it helps.

amanda thanks I guess not many people have a veiw on this. I hear lots of mixed things. there are lots of etsy that do lactic acid peels on pregnant women bc they say our bodies naturally produce lactic acid. especially when you breast feed. It is a real problem for me because I need more answers. I want to do the best for my clients I can. I know not to use any galvanic or HF. The massaging the feet thing is totally a new one. WOW I wish there was a group on here for this.

They can not have any peels done no HF and no galvanic. Most women I have worked on are very sensitive and then others don't even feel the extractions it just depends on the client. You can massage the feet but I would avoid that in the 1st trimester, it would only bring on labor in the 2nd and 3rd trimester, unless you are working specific points.

This is great question. I'm curious myself! I've heard depending on how far along a women is in her pregnancy, not to massage the feet, it can bring on labor O.O
