Kate, we're all here to help each other.  By the way, I would inform them that if they want to work with you and obtain clear skin they cannot use Pro-Active.  I have had to tell many clients at their initial appointment to throw out everything they are using.  They bring it in and I look it over, if it can be used I give approval and when they run out, they have to switch products.  It's rare that they can use what they have.

Thanks Laura & Brenda - great advice. I'll get them both started in January. There's so much going on this time of year, that it's hard to stay on top of home care. My holiday "stress-spots" are already making their annual appearance.

Kate, I wouldn't worry about convincing them.  Ask gentle questions that make them think and they will figure it out on their own and then they are happy.  Did the Pro-Active clear your acne and keep it clear?  Did the acne return?  Did the system leave your skin dry and irritated with no solution as to how to deal with this and stay on the system?  Get the drift?  Their answers allow you to then share why the FR system and the regimen work.  Money isn't the issue, it's the results achieved.  If they bring up money you can always say "I understand (letting them know you are compassionate about that) and my confidence in these products and the system are such that I know I can help."

Kate Yes you can use PCA Sensi peel plus our homecare for your daughter and friend. I'm out of town right now and it would be best if you would email Patti to answer the second question. Pros@ facerealityacneclinic.com.

I did the FR certification and will be ordering some products in January. My teenage daughter & her friend are interested in being my "guinea pigs". I want to limit costs on these two as neither girl can pay for services or products, so I'll be footing the bill. :-)
I'm wondering if I can use my PCA Sensi peel plus FR home care to get them started, as I already have that on hand.
Second question - my daughter thinks her friend uses ProActiv. Does anyone on here have suggestions for how to convince teens (really their parents) that FR is a better value? I was going to calculate the cost per use on each but wondered what else I could do. Thanks!

You never want to put anything on top of BPO as it will stop its action of going down inside the pore. For hydration you need to get a water-based emulsion to layer under the bpo or a hydrating toner or both. You use a vitamin A based product when you have non inflamed acne. It will all become clear when you take my training.

Laura, how long do you not put anything on top of the BPO?  If I, or clients need or desire a night creme, when can that resume?  Especially if they are getting dry (or, as some of my clients are, they have the dry jawline/chin/hormonal acne type and need hydration and moisture.

Also, if I was needing/wanting a Retinol type product instead of Mandelic, when would that be incorporated?  Seems like there are a lot of items that need to be used at night! (BPO, Retinol, lightener with HQ), and it seems like the steps and order are important.

Thanks!  I know I'll probably know all of this after I can take the course, lol.  Can't til after the holidays and its killing me!!  :)

@cheryl. I want the bpo to dry on the skin on top of everything else.
