Hi Lisa-

I was wondering what you think of the LED light as an add on for treatments. What SS products do you recommend if it (if any) Thanks!

Good question, as I was wondering this myself. Seeing if Lisa V. comments on here for us! She's the whiz!

I add LED frequently at end of treatment

I've done layers of SS TCA and then put my clients under my Celluma panel for 15 minutes. I have also used a thin layer of the seaweed mask before the panel. We typicall charge $25 for a 15 minute add-on.

Hi all!  Hum, I don't know the answer to this question.  I'm going to defer to Shelley's advice (and anyone else who is using LED).

I use LED Light (amber, infrared And red) in every facial! LED will only make things better so if the client has a good result with just a regular facial or microderm or peel an LED add on will make it an awesome facial with even better results! I have clients coming in off of referrals left and right because of the difference they see in their friends,co-workers and family members who have had LED treatments. I have clients who have inflamed rosacea that just come in for the LED and by the time the treatment is finished their skin has drastically calmed down. No other facial treatment has offered what LeD has.

I have never done a facial without microcurrent and LED, 20 minutes at minimum.  Both are included in the facial, not an add on.  The difference in my clients' skin is amazing.  A client just called me to say that she and another client were in a jacuzzi in NAPA when a lady stopped to tell them how great their skin looked---both of them.  I use a peptide serum before the LED treatment (make sure serum is clear so it does not diminish the lightwaves---goes for masks, too).

I concur with Susan about the peptide serum! Magnifies the amazing LED results! Forgot to mention that if you have a client who gets facial waxing and has to go to an event or out in public and the redness is very noticble you can apply the LED light for 10 mins and the redness will go down drastically.

Amber, I have witnessed that result also, especially if I use some colloidal oatmeal in the serum.  Just a touch goes a long way.

I love using a cocktail of serums like an antioxidant serum and hyaluronic acid and vitamin c, then red light or blue light for 15 minutes.  If they are dry I will layer a thin layer of the seaweed mask on top and then place Shelleys LED mask on top.  I love LED.  I have it as an add on and charge $1 a minute so $15 for a full treatment.  I like having it as an add on service because then when you do it at no charge or throw it into a service, the client feels like they are getting added value and great results.

I do the same thing! Love it!
I have the samples but haven't tried the seaweed mask. When used with the LED mask does it stick to the mask or does it absorb into the skin if you just use a thin layer? Is it good for all skin types? I have ordered the Celluma panel so the idea of using it along with a mask appeals to me. Any advice or explanation of the benefits of combining the mask and LED as opposed to using them separately is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you want to use a thin layer and take a couple of seconds to massage in. You can use it under the Celluma also. The thing to be careful about the Seaweed Mask (or anything that is similar, meaning gel) with an LED panel is if you have too much product the light will reflect off of it...make sense?

I like to combine because, well.....it saves time! :-) I also believe that the LED helps whatever product I have on the skin penetrate deeper and/or become more active.

Hope this helps!!
