A lot of these lines that we are using are not big name brands, and for my own independent contractor business I want to move away from big buy-ins and sales and focus more on true esthetic skin care. Finding some of these lines is difficult and I've been trying to glean from the conversations what everyone is using but thought it may be easier to just ask everyone to list them so I can research easier. And, hopefully, other esty's can stumble on this thread for info too.

So I'll start...

1. Decleor Paris
2. PCA Skin
3. Peter Thomas Roth
4. Fresh
5. Jack Black
6. H2T

ayur-medic has a startup special that if you buy 400 in retail they send you 400 in your choice of backbar. i really like the line, especially for backbar. i will probably stay with their masks and exfoliants even if the retail isn't "right" for me. their sheer tinted spf is an easy sell and their products are a nice price point.

there are so many lines, good and bad. very few of them have a "revolutionary" ingredient that makes them incredibly different than other lines- it all comes down to what works for your clients and how easy it is to deal with the company. marty on this board has been very responsive and i'll probably order a few serums for retail from him that i didn't like ayur-medic's version of, for example.

hope that was helpful at all haha

I have had a great experience so far with Skin Script. Both the products and service are wonderful. I live in a very very small town so the price point of the retail works really well for me.
Do you get results with skin scripts? I need a less expensive line but still want it to give good skin results.

Yes. I have been very impressed with the results. When I moved back to my hometown my cousin came to start a series of peels and home care (she had between grade II-III acne) because everything the dermatologist and doctors had given her were not working. Put her on a simple home care routine and mixed her treatments with glycolic/lactic peels. Worked great. Now this fall we will be working with her scars with the TCA peel.

Sanitas Skin Care

Vital Therapy

Hydropeptide

I also private label a few of my own custom chemical peels.

When did Jack Black make a skin care line?

LoL. I don't think it's made by the actor Jack Black. It's not much of a skincare lone anyway.

lol I thought you were trying to trick us! hahaha! I had to look it up!

Yeah. Worst name ever lol!
Thanks

THE BEST OUT THER IS GLYMED.  I WORKED IN A CLINIC FOR 13 YEARS AND THAT WAS ALL THEY USED. I WASN'T AN ESTHETICIAN THEN BUT I DID SEE THE GREAT RESULTS.  IT IS PRICY BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT RESULTS, YOU'LL GET IT WITH GLYMED.  I JUST OPENED MY OWN BUSINESS  (I AM NOW AN ESTHETICIAN) , AFTER WORKING FOR PLACES THAT USED DERMALOGICA & ASST. BRANDS... AND I AM NOW OFFERING GLYMED.  IT NOT ONLY GIVES YOU GOOD RESULTS , YOU USE IT AS A SELLING POINT TO SELL YOUR SERVICES..."I USE THE HIGHEST QUALITY PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET & GET THE BEST RESULTS"...  I JUSTIFY IT BY BEING ABLE TO HAVE A HIGHER PRICE SERVICE.  WISH MORE PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT GLYMED.  ALSO YOU CAN'T GO TO ULTA, SEPHORA, ETC. TO BUY IT. IT HAS TO BE PURCHASED FROM A LICENSED PROFFESSIONAL, ALSO GIVING YOU A BETTER RETURN ON YOUR RETAIL.  BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.  GOD BLESS, DEBB

I agree with everything Debb mentioned regarding Glymed Plus. The ingredients just make sense!
