Hi everyone,

I'm an esthetician and an R.N. Within the next three months I will be opening a medical spa, but I have a limited budget, and cannot offer too many treatments (for now). I thought about starting with DermaFrac and Radiofrequency. Does anybody think this is agood idea? Any suggestions? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks

You will earn back your investment on peels a lot faster than expensive machine based services, so I would definitely include and heavily promote peels in your opening menu in order to fuel your growth. Also, when I hear medical spa, my mind goes towards a large establishment with desk staff, marketing, etc.  I'm not sure what you are planning in that regard, but know that runaway payroll expenses are the cause of many small business calamities, mine included, so if you don't have investment capital to fund those positions for the first couple years, don't hire for them...  stay small until the cost of a staff person is less than the revenue that you can generate by having them there.  In my case, I downsized back to a solo operation because I really couldn't justify the receptionist payroll when revenue dipped.  Of course I lost a LOT of money, a beautiful space, and a great staff in the process.

Hello,

Im an esthetician with clientele looking for a new place, where is your new spa? and are you rest?

Thank you,

Sara West
