New towel steamer by Beauty Pro
Has any one seen this new (new to me ) portable towel steamer ? I saw it in the new Skin deep magazine. Looks very cute ! It's small and circular, sort of like a crockpot. The price is comparable to the price of some other small sized steamers I've seen; $96 www.beautypro.us.com

I saw it in there too :). I thought it was really cute and would be great to have by your treatment table. I have a hot towel warmer on my facial machine that I started using, but I also have a bigger one. Usually I put the towels for one client in facial machine and the rest in the bigger one and just transfer them. Seems like that one would only fit a few towels.

I watched the videos they had for it, and it is very cute and looks very small. Maybe too small for everyday esthetic use IMO. The towels look narrow . For $96 not sure if it would be what I want to invest in as a new esty for a towel warmer.

Yes probably not! A crock pot would probably work just like this...but another Esty friend uses a turkey roaster!! Not sure the cost but I thought htat was interesting. She said it doesn't take an hour to heat up the towels. I got my big one off Ebay...it's not GREAT but it gets the job done for now.

yep, i use a crock pot. it works fine for me. But I am considering a new towel warmer and just using the crock pot for my hot stones. Now a turkey roaster ?! lol ! hey, we esty's gotta do what we gotta do ! ....

I have one, and it's great for small rooms or if you're mobile! You have to use the towels that come with it however; they're the same length as a handtowel but half the width. It only holds about 6 towels at a time, but it steams towels FAST so you can put a new one in when you take one out.
