I am interested in purchasing Red and Blue LED Lights for an add-on service.  I notice that the prices have such a wide span in price, ranging from $100.00 to $6000.00.  Does anyone know the difference...do you feel that they really work? If you can recommend a particular brand and why would be helpful as well.

Thank you Skin Care Professionals!

Regina.. this is incorrect information.. who are you listening to? State Board, or someone in the biz? I am in Alabama and make a great income from LED therapy! I love it! As far as i know it is not classed at all here.. but if it has become classed, it would have to be a class 1..

I was told this was a class II device and we could not use it in Tn or Al unless we were under a doctors supervision.  I was never able to verify this information.  Does anyone know the answer to this?
Jules: I have had Revitalight for 3 years and have really done well with it. I love the outcome.. tho it does require follow up treatments after the initial series.. Feel free to inbox me anytime.. I love mine:)
Revitalight.com shows b4 and afters, and Tiffany Reim is the rep.. tell her i sent you:)) Maribeth, Fort Payne, al

hi maribeth how many treatments does it take to notice a change and how much did u pay for yours

What kind of results are you getting? I've never worked with LED before and know very little about their benefits.

Funny. I just posted the same question. I am new to this site. Hope to find some answers here.

Check out the Celluma LED Panel... high end spa's in NY use them as well. I LOVE mine!  I was using 'Wands' until my back was killing me as I held them over my client's face for 20-30 minutes. It has amazing, cutting edge technology....truly a brilliant, compact, easy to store unit for smaller rooms. The price cannot be beat as well.

Thank you Jill. I appreciate that.

Shelley Hancock sells them on her website! Tell her I sent you if you do order one, or just have questions for her. ;)  (I don't get anything for that...just maybe a 'kudos' haha)  But, she'll answer any questions you may have, and boy she ships it out FAST!!!!  I have ordered a couple things from her, and I have it QUICKLY!

Jill a have a great LED light but I know there is one from Canada that is even stronger. That is what i am looking for.

I will find out.

Thanks

I understand ...but, there is more to the 'strength' of an LED that helps it assimilate into the skin for a successful result. The technology of the Celluma LED Panel is centered around recent findings and it's very interesting!  I hope you find it helpful in your search! :)

1. Wavelength (yes, it is important to purchase equipment that uses the correct/scientifically proven levels)

2. Power Output (the Celluma is very unique in this aspect)

3. Delivery Distance (should be 2-3" away from face)

4. Energy Level -  The scientific research bares out that cells are much more efficient in absorbing light energy when that energy is delivered over a longer period of time and when the light is delivered in pulses rather than a constant stream of light. Again, this is where the Celluma is differentiated from the other devices on the market. The Celluma uses very complex electronic algorithms to modulate the light energy to ensure optimal cellular absorption. The Celluma’s treatment times are also intentionally longer in duration to ensure optimal cellular absorption.

Competing LED devices use higher levels of energy emission and shorter treatment times, claiming to be more efficient in energy delivery. The truth of the matter is that “slower and lower” is better. Too much energy delivered too fast just results in the non-absorption of the energy and a diminished therapeutic benefit.

Jill you are AWESOME!! Here is a great way to understand it: If I try and water my lawn with a fire hose, a good amount of that water is just going to fly off and not be absorbed by the ground...it's just too much too fast. Same with LED's. I've gotten really great results with my big expensive panel that has 1800 LED's but......I'm getting so much better results with this Celluma (325 LED's) that has been manufactured with such quality and precision. I am totally impressed with what this company.
