This question may seem a little odd but..I am starting a business; I am 24 yrs old; this is my passion; I'm the only Esthetician in my business; I clearly have the funds but that doesn't mean I'm not on a money saving budget. I have all of the orders down regarding skincare products (my main study) to equipment..but I just can't seem to find the right towels, mainly hand towels since those are going directly on the clients face. Everything I find on the Internet is either good quality but way too expensive; or cheap & very poor quality (too rough and/or fall apart in 1 wash)...nowhere local I can get them; even tried amazon to get the same results. So, does anyone know where I can get good quality super soft yet durable hand towels that won't cost me $5-10 a towel?? I understand the cost of everything else; but that just seems like a lot for a towel; maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? So please tell me...what kind of towels do I look for and where do I get them??

I do airbrush tanning, and I buy all of my towels from Walmart. Not the cheapest ones, but the next ones up. They're not very thick, but they are really soft. Hope this helps! Kohls has nice towels and sales all of the time, or Costco is great too

I have gottin my towels at costo and they have lasted over a year and still feel and look good. ive been very happy with them. hope that helps.

Ikea towels and towels from Diamond towel company are both good for the hot cabbie.  Diamond are probably a little softer in the long run.  The Ikea ones are smaller, and get a little stiff/rough with use, which is why I like them for removing tough clay masks.

I prefer Diamond towels or the one's at Costco.  They hold up quite well and are soft for clients' faces.

Costco for us as well!

HI,

I use  Softees Stain Resistant Microfiber Towel.  I love them. They are very durable. They are $19.99

for 10.  I found them here:

I also found them at Armstrong/McCalls locally here in Phoenix.  I hope this helps.

Congratulations on starting your new business!

It's kind of crazy, but while traveling I stopped at an Bath and Linens Factory Outlet.  I found the perfect towels for me and I love them.  They are not huge and bulky, like some towels I have tried, but are the perfect size for removing product during a facial and they are light on the clients face.  Some clients even noticed the difference.  I can also fit more in my towel cabi.

I discovered I can call and order over the phone and recently purchased 30 for $14.70.   I mentioned I was a spa and they gave me a slight discount.  The shipping was almost the same cost as the towels at $10.95 but still a great deal for the amount of towels I purchased.

Westpoint Home  Bed, Bath and Linens Factory Outlet in Valley AL.  Phone is 334-756-5555

Good Luck!

I bought the $1.00 ones at Walmart. They do not give off too much lint and are thin enough to be good for facial steam towels. I looked high and low too and would have paid more money but these worked out just right.

Hi Nina congradulations, I am looking for equipment, and suggestions as to where to find a good facial hydralic bed that goes high(back problems) and a sturdy waxing bed. That's not to expensive, thank you
Denise, Believe it or not, I found my hydraulic bed on Craigslist. $100. Perfect condition. Craigslist is good because you're able to go check things out first. Also look at Amazon.com, they have good prices on beds as well. You can't really go wrong with a hydraulic bed.

Got all my equipment at LCL Beauty! Best prices on full room equipment....I did put a egg crate on top of it....3.5 inch thick one....but getting the bed, trolley, steamer, UV Sterilizer, 8 in one multifunction, stool, bed, towel cabbie for around 1 grand...awesome...

I just want to thank everyone for their feedback on towels. I ended up ordering a bunch of towels from Diamond; I am going to go check Costco and the other places mentioned as well for more.
