Adult acne and scarring
Anyone have any thoughts on treating adult acne with some scarring? I have a few clients with this. One of them has extremely thin skin and I have to be very careful with her. I have some thoughts but would much appreciate your input. Thanks!

By scarring, do you mean red or dark spots or do you mean indented scarring?

In two cases in particular, mild, indented scarring and another with adult acne. I find adult acne so persistent.

Acne is all that I do and we treat adults all the time. It's basically treated the same way as teen acne, but you have to account for skin type in this case, going a bit more conservatively with the home care protocol as the skin will be more prone to dehydration.
As far as scarring goes, if it's hyperpigmentation you are talking about, the active products I use for acne will lift the dark spots as well. Indented scarring is a medical modality and best addressed by a doctor.
