What product line and wax is the best to use for Brazilian waxing? I'm thinking of adding this to my menu. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Haley - Be sure you order the after wax Essential Oil from them.  It really is my favorite.  It is kind of pricey but my clients love it to.
Ditto on all of the Berins suggestions and the DVD "The Whole Ball of Wax".  I have recently moved to Florida this past year and started my own skin care & wax studio.  It took some time and my name is starting to get around more.  My Brazilian business is really growing and I get raves on how much better my clients like this wax over others they have been exposed to.  The pre-depilitory oil and the post wax oil are excellent.  I have been using the Tu'el line of products and wax for nearly 13 years.  It is the best in my book.  Good luck!

Thanks Susan...........I love being able to talk to people who know and understand the profession we work in.

So glad your waxing business is growing.......lets hope mine will do too :)

Cirepil and or Berins hard wax....I do use soft wax as well, to clean up a the lil hairs//BUT ONLY Hard on the Lip area for sure!

Strip wax is very risky and can tear skin!!  Hard wax can too, but its truly safer in the long run!

I wouldnt  recomend adding  brazilians to your menu ,until you have truly mastered them! Its a Great service, but it Requires experience..get Lori nestores Brazilian video..then Practice on Every friend & Family member!

Once you get it down..You Love em! Its all I do!! everyday :)

Hi Cat,

What product do you like to use or sell for ingrown hairs? I've actually been using Clear it for myself on the bikini area and I just started using Glyco-Gel from their Tuel line but I don't see a big improvement. I tend to get ingrowns right away after waxing. I'd like to know not only for myself but for my clients as well! Is it best to prevent them by exfoliating before getting waxed? Does using a scrub help?

I have my own private label products that I retail.

I have an organic sugar scrub w/ grape fruit extract,  a Toner that PH balances the skin as well as a spot /Pimple/bump treatment that  has Glycolic/Salycilic/VItc & Gotu Berry.

I cant keep in in stock!!  Its great cause my products can be used any where on the body so u get more bang for the Buck:)

I always give them the option fo using a OTC acne scrub. I am not a Fan of any Roll on type of product of harsh chemicals..just a simple scrub:)

That's awesome! I've actually been thinking about having my own private label for those kind of products, especially a scrub they can use for before or after waxing that smells good. What company are you using to do that?  Do you tell your clients to exfoliate before getting a brazilian done?

I vote Berins as well.  Love their wax and Lori is awesome.  I use the blue hard wax but just ordered the rose to try.  It is for more sensitive skin.
I also vote for "Berins" and the video helped me a lot.  Good Luck :)
I tried the Rose wax and love it. The only problem for me is the smell. If you are sensitive to smells make sure you get the Cirepil not the Essentials.  The Cirepil has no smell.
I have been waxing for over 5 yrs now,and I do up to 5 brazilian waxes daily--and have always used the cirepil blue hard wax.  Hard wax is so much easier for you to control in the bikini area and is sooooo much less painful for your clients!!  I have recently been using a new cirepil pearl hard wax and my regular waxers report that is it even less painlful for them--the every other month or longer waxers don't seem to notice a difference--but they still like it.  I too love the training videos offered by Lori Nestore!   She is amazing!  Best of luck to you!!

I Use Preston Private label,,I have them scrub every day..except they of waxing or the day before:)
