I had CryBABy done to me to see if I liked it before diving into the training.  I wasn't blown away.  My lashes were crunchy and looked clumped.  Lash dip may be different.  They are a lot more than CryBaby as far as training $.  Go get it done(I traded with another esty).
I never had any lashes done, the closest Lash Dip place is about 300 miles, kinda far, and as far as training go, it is 2 full days $1475 plus hotel and gas. Not cheap.
I had Lash Dip done on me December 2010 and I did not like it - I felt like my lashes were encased in ceramic.   Also it took a long time to remove.  I had it professionally removed after a week because I could not endure it.  My daughter on the other hand did OK with it, but she will not repeat it.  I for myself chose Cry Baby Mascara.  I prefer it as it is kinder to the lashes.  It may not be for everyone but it certainly lives up to its name.   Check out the September Allure Magazine page 167 for their opinion on both Services.  Even though it says it is hard to remove Cry Baby Mascara, I have never found it so.  In my opinion, it is an excellent add on service
I am a certified lash dip technician (unfortunately). I'll try to keep this reply as positive as possible but I'm so frustrated with the company and even more so the product so I'll start with the positives ( or so the company wants you to think) a semi permant mascara that lasts for 6 weeks with one 3 week touch up to support the base when the new growth isn't strong enough. Mascara that says on like that what a dream. But I have not had that success the class is 1400.00 not including travel expenses the company claims that you will make all your money back with all the supplies in the first kit not so they don't want you to charge the first ten clients because you won't be skilled enough until you've done 30-50 clients. And the product has a shelf life of two months which has to be refrigerated when not in use my first bottle lasted about 4 weeks before it got stringy and the company sent me a free bottle, since the product is so sensitive I have to over night the shipment making a $75 into a $120 bottle, and don't even get me started on all the unhappy clients I've had to deal with, the procedure takes About 45 mins - 1 hr 1/2 and costs about $200-$300 dollars every six weeks. I was charging $55 because I could never get it to stay on longer than a week, it would start getting clumpy and flakey, and to top it off the inventor weren't even wearing it during my training class that should have been my first clue. One of my fellow  estheticians took the class about a month from me and has had the same issues she even went out of state to talk with one of the national trainers , who be the way said she didn't like wearing the product either, sorry to harp but I really want to protect other people from making the same mistake as me and my friend did, if any one is successful with this product please contact me I would love to speak with you! Jillianlee6@yahoo.com  I plan to contact BBB when I'm not so heated!

WAW......glad to hear this. I also called the company so many times just to get some basic information, they never answear their main line a single time! never responded to my emails, I left a massage on their voicemail and after 6 days somebody called back from (312) area code, thats how I got more dirrect contact.

Thank you ladies for all great posts, you saved my money

Thanks for this info, ladies.

I've been certified for quite some time.  Although I had a lot of stumbles along the way, I continued to practice on select people I could trust, and they understand, they're with me to help trouble shoot along the way.

I find this product is perfect for vacationers, woman that don't wear much makeup, and others looking for a simple DAILY look, anything more, the client is a candidate for eyelash extensions (in Texas, we like things over the top).

It's also a wonderful answer/add on service for the lower lashes when I do eyelash extensions!  After all, who wants "raccoon eyes" when I can rid them away for up to 3 weeks on the lower lashes?

It's too bad there's been poor customer service and response with the company LashDip.  If you choose to go to training.... my advise is to do your homework and go have it professionally applied first!

~a happy dipper.
