I'm a new Esty and I'm trying to expand my knowledge in order to provide my clients with the best treatment and care.   I think specializing in Acne Treatment is very rewarding because of the satisfaction that I feel after helping someone with acne.  Once I get my clients clear and on a maintenance program, what treatment(s) can I offer them that would reduce the appearance of acne scars?

I would love everyone's input on this.  Thanks!

@ Laura,  ahhhhhh....got It!  :)
@Laura, thanks for the info but I'm in the same boat with Mary Lou.  Illinois only allows 30%.  Good to know though.
@Mary Lou and Virginia - I used to do it with TCA 15% (in Vivant's propeel system) - it has the same effect, it just takes longer to blanch the scar.
@Laura, ok I'll look into that.  Thank you for your help.  I got your Acne Treatment Program DVD.  It's really superb.  I just finished the course and took the exam.  I am very excited to implement your program in my practice. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.  I feel more confident treating clients with acne.
hi Virginia, where can i get the DVD....?
Hi Raquel - you can get it from my website http://www.facerealityacneclinic.com/articles/acne_skincare_profess...; or by calling our office 866-477-3077.
wow...$350.? that's too expensive!!!!!

If you are really serious about treating acne, this is an incredibly comprehensive training DVD that gives you all of the information that we use at our acne clinic to be successful at treating acne.  Along with that price comes all the support that you will need when you have questions and/or have a difficult case to clear.  Believe me, we have seen it all.

I know it seems expensive and we want to attract only those skincare professionals who are truly serious about treating acne.  If you would like some contact info of some of our wholesale clients, I would be happy to supply you with some names, so you can get a sense of how it changed the focus of their business.  When you get good at treating acne, you never have a slow business day! Also, fyi it's $325.

@Virginia - wow that's sooo great; and thanks for the kudos.  Remember, if you need help with any clients that we have a form on our website where you can input information about your client and get support.  Keep us posted about your successes!
Hi Laura, can you tell me where can i see the DVD I also work with Vivant skincare!!!! Thank you so much.....Raquel.
You can see a preview of my DVD on my website - http://www.facerealityacneclinic.com/articles/acne_skincare_profess....  Let me know if you have any questions.

@ Laura...first, I want to add my support to your acne program.  I, too, bought your training program (very well done, and I am not easy to impress) and products, and have three clients started.  We are all very excited to see how it unfolds.

Second, will you please give more specifics on the use of 15% TCA for scars.  After prepping the skin, you apply the acid a drop at a time?  From a Q-tip or eye dropper?  You wait a couple of minutes between drops?  With TCA, you get a frost if enough is applied.  Is that what you mean by blanching, or does your method go beyond frost?  It must, or you wouldn't get a scab, right?  What do you charge per session to treat, say, 5 or 6 scars at one time?

Thanks!
