Wow I would love to have A list actress on my customer list and be able to charge 7k per facial. But honestly I think this diamond and ruby peel is totally over rated!
Agreed!

RIDICULOUS! THAT MUST BE SOME FACIAL!
Ridiculous!  If he indeed used real gems; that's a total waste!  I couldn't even take $7k from someone and not say, "What are you thinking spending this kind of money on this??"  If anything, I am honest with my clients and I would tell them I could give them a $70 facial with the same result!
Yes Trish, I totally agree. I feel like that is how we keep our clients. Trust.

There was a facialist in manhattan that happened to have Susan Seranden walk in for a facial without an appointment. Her facilas were no more magnificent than any other talented facialist but, just by having an A actress walk in, her facial price went from $85.00 to $350.00-for the same facial.

I would never think to charge someone more just because they were an actress and I would not treat them any different then I would my regular clients.  Sure maybe they have the money to pay for it but is it really fair to charge someone a different price just because they are famous.  I guess if Susan requested additional time or you had to cancel your afternoon and make that up to your regulars later maybe?  But then I would not cancel my regulars since they are the ones that have helped pay my bills for the last 10 years.

For 7k you better look like a whole new person.  I know sometimes people have more money then sense but still........I agree with Trish - I am honest with my clients and they know if they ask me about something I am going to give them my honest opinion.  They can take my advice or not that is up to them.

I seriously doubt Mila Kunis paid $7,000 for a facial.  In general, celebrities get a lot of freebies or comps from people hoping to get "bragging rights" by performing treatments on them.  Second, using crushed gemstones to perform a facial seems to me just "glitter and glamour" used to justify the outrageous price tag, when plain old microdermabrasion could easily do the job just as well. Or sandpaper for that matter.
I'm thinking for $7K she should have gotten a full face-lift. What a waste of gems.

I feel sorry Mila Kunis for not having any common sense for paying that much for a facial.
