I'm starting my business from my home doing eye lash extensions, and I need a way to accept credit cards, but at a low cost to me. I don't have many clients that are using cards but I would like the option available if needed. Does anyone have any suggestions on which one I should use?

Open up a paypal account. I think it would be the easiest (Not the Cheapest) for you to start accepting CC.

I use Square-it's 2.75% to use swiper and 3.75% +.15 cents each trans. I think to hand key, uses smart phone and WiFi. No monthly fee. No set up fees. Much, much cheaper than the Cell Charge I used to use.
Casie,
You should check PayAnyway.com and they charged 2.69% per swipe with any credit cards.
They will sent you the free reader.

I think that PayPal's mobile solution is the cheapest: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/credit-card-reader
Thank you everyone for your replies. I looked into the Paypal and Square that were both recommended and I decided to go with Paypal. I'm all set up and ready to go!!
Thanks again for the help!

GLAD YOUR READY.... :) But...
Below is a Copy/Paste from an email my IT sent me regarding accepting credit cards on a WEBSITE or RETAIL. I thought it might help you and anybody else looking to accept credit cards:
(Parts are a little on the TECH side but I hope its helpful)
FIRST EMAIL
Do you pay less than 2.9%+$0.30 per a transaction with Lenders once you add up all of the monthly fees?
I tried to google Leaders and I found some really bad reviews on Yelp, I am not sure if it is the same company though. I also found one site that says that Lenders works with Authorize.net.
Essentially, yes you can use your merchant account with a gateway. There are two type of online credit card processing structures. One is a merchant account and gateway in one, such as, the PayPal account you have or Stripe.com or even some Authorize.net accounts. The other way is having a separate merchant account connected to a gateway. In these cases there really is only two options PayPal and Authorize.net. I am not trying to confuse you but PayPal and Authorize.net both have products that are merchant account and gateway in one and products that are just the gateway tied to an external merchant account.
If it makes financial sense for you to use your Lenders merchant account instead of the all in one products than I would recommend using PayPal because it would be easier to transition.
Here is an overview of the two gateway-only products that I put together for someone else earlier this year. Let me know if you have any questions.
SECOND EMAIL
If you can use Stripe.com it is 2.9%+$0.30 per a transaction, no monthly charges or any other charges including for recurring billing. Also, you can sign up for as many account as you want and have them go to the same bank account. Meaning, you can have a unique billing identifier for each website
I hope this info helps. I am sure I was billed by my IT to write these two emails. :))
