Advanced Classes

If you could take any class, after your completed licensing hours, what would you want to take? I'm looking for your wish list. :) Anything from leg waxing to business to lash tinting. Maybe things you wish were taught to you in school but you had to learn on your own after. Maybe something you did learn in school but felt like you needed more training. Would you have wanted (or do you want) a class to learn what is important as far as advertising at the beginning (what works and what doesn't)? Business class strictly for Estheticians (not for hair stylists!)?

Brazilian waxing for sure, eyebrow & lash tinting and more in depth brow shaping!!!

I agree. Brizilian waxing. I missed the boat when I was younger. I have met estheticians who make BIG bucks from nothing but Brazilians. Those who get waxed will be your most loyal clients & they will provide you with plenty of referrals. I highly recommend Sandee Schantini. I would love to take classes in laser hair removal and laser treatments for pigmentation.

This is specifically why Crickett and I created The Wax Show here in California. We offer a 1 day demo style training where we discuss and demo advanced waxing techniques, we offer a business class where we discuss how to make money and included ASCP to come to discuss the insurance side of esthetics.

Esthetics school is to teach you how to past the test to become certified. It us up to us to seek and find advanced training. Our Wax Show is the only event in the US to teach all advanced waxing/sugaring classes and give estheticians the opportunity to network and discuss business in an open/sharing environment.

For 2013 we will have Northern April 2013 and Southern California May 2013. Please feel free to email or call us to participate. This will be our 3rd year!
