Advice for selling equipment

I need advice on the best way to sell my microdermabrasion machine. I put it on Craig's List and was flooded with scam emails. Also, what is a reasonable price for a dual diamond tip/crystal machine that is less than a year old and only used a few times. I paid 2,300$. I know I'll never get what I paid of course, but would like to price it fairly for everyone.

There is a classified section under groups, you could try posting it there.  I'm not sure about pricing.
